Boos ringing out at full time…the Kop singing attack attack attack…slot might not survive much longer. Once you lose the crowd, it’s very difficult to come back.

Best manager we have had, when you compare trophies
I’ve been pretty down on Slot this year but this at least looked like a side that had a clear idea of what it was supposed to be doing. And while I get personal dissatisfaction with the pace of the game, today at least it produced more than enough clear chances to win.
But it doesn’t feel like bad luck that saw us fail to add a second and that is where the questions about Slot will continue to valid. Is it Fitness? Belief? Enthusiasm? Maybe lack of fear of consequences?

Context is needed, it came straight off the back of 6 losses in 8 games. Would you not have taken that if it was offered after the heavy loss at PSV? Sure we could’ve won a few more games but on the whole it’s been the turnaround we’ve needed.

There was a counter break in the 2nd half, from our box to theirs. It didn’t quite come off, but I was struck by how seldom we see those now.

Konate actually signed a 6 year extension bsck in September. The club are just waiting until he has a good game before they announce it.

We are 17 points worse off from the same point last season. We would need to win every game till the end off the season to match last years points total.
