I haven’t started on Gini yet, don’t encourage me as I have calmed down a bit after doing something constructive and being successful at it.
If you wish to read what I felt about Gini’s performance read my posts in the prematch thread, they were made at 1/2 time. After that suffice it to say I could write a very long essay on where our midfield went wrong tonight and Gini was a big part in that!

:+1:t2: :muscle:t2:

Take yours out of the sand first.

I agree. It’s massively disrespectful to suggest Klopp would ‘engineer’ his own exit. He deserves better than shite like that being posted when you take into account what he’s been through recently.

Get ball, keep ball for very long time, pass it back to Kabak, lance long ball in direction of Rudiger or even better some young looking goalkeeper rinse and repeat.

I love the way The Ox has now become a pariah on here and gets the blame for every defeat. I could go through that team tonight and name players who were a lot worse than him. Mane looked like he didn’t give a shit for one!! But then I suppose it stops people having a go at Lovren.

Agreed.

I’m not suggesting that he is doing so, but it doesn’t mean that it isn’t possible, though.

It’s all Klopps fault he hasn’t a clue!

Actually as much as I adore Klopp, I didn’t like his post match as far as the assessment goes.
I wanted to hear that the pressing wasn’t good, and to see him identify what was wrong. That would have given a sense of awareness where the problem is, which gives a hope of addressing it.
He spoke of being better in the decisive moments, and that’s all good, but he gives the impression he feels everything but the decisive moments is fine. It’s not…
And then, as great as Mount’s goal was, he was given the room to shoot, we were not given a room to shoot. He was speaking of Mount’s quality, but we do have players of better quality, so it wasn’t about the player quality, it was always about us giving them the room for the shot and them not giving us any room.
I preferred Roobo’s post match, who seemed to not be accepting the performance level.

He’s been saying that for months, though.

This is turning into a season to forget. As you can tell I’m entering open silly season.
There’s so much wrong that it’s impossible to know where to start after you have uttered ‘our 3 best CBs are crooked’.

So let’s recapitulate our CB situation:
. VVD and Gomez out for the season.
. Their replacement Matip out for the season.
. Stand-in Fabinho has been out for months and just been brought back to action. One week too early according to Klopp, but no other choice. Cue another injury happening soon.
. Second stand-in Hendo out injured, possibly for the season.
. Sixth choice Phillips out injured.
. Seventh choice Davies out injured.
. Eighth choice on-loan Kabak is fit, yeahhhhh!!!
. Rhys Williams???

That’s not a rant. It’s a well reasoned argument. I’ve been saying the same thing for last two months.

Is that even possible?
