Damning. Once we were the best at this under Klopp. Everyone feared our high energy press. Our busy bees. Now it’s fat, slow bees that are so turgid, bloated and heavy (flying side ways) that they can barely take off.
How we have fallen under this awful Possession Regime.

It was clear to see at Anfield. The ONLY players doing and meaningful running were Dom (my goodness that lad has an engine!!) and Rio.
Everybody else was mostly static.
No runners off the ball until their second being disallowed and the crowd getting riled up jolted them out of their collective stupor.

With Slot going into next season in charge of the team, I can forsee no improvement, just more mediocre, dismal football. The key players will also want to leave if they to train with his dross tactics.

Fact of matter is nothing is getting better, new shiny toys won’t solve the issues and he could yet miss out on CL.

Mamadashvilli must be pretty pissed that he could not release the ball earlier on multiple occasions as there were no runners from the mid field and forwards. Walking pace FC.

Might have been a better time to make this case before FSG took note of the protest with regards to ticket prices.
I actually think if the ticket prices had gone up last year, immediately after we’d won the league then the owners might have felt secure and happy enough to be more stand offish about those increases. Instead they are fully aware (or should be if they take the slightest interest in the companies they own) about the fan unrest surrounding this season.
The fans are the ones that keep the flow of income going. No owner of any company can freely ignore the desires of their customers.

It still baffles me that Slot didnt make ANY meaningful adjustments for the second half after Caicedo led their midfield pressing and Cucurella kept being their outlet.
