You’d imagine they’ll be in Paris
Yep, think thats what the post was alluding to. Just looked through her insta and it looks like they were here for the Carabao cup but not the FA Cup. I suppose, as token fans, makes sense if they were planning to go to Paris instead…
Fuck me but looking at that insta page is like going down a rabbit hole. I have no idea why she would publicly post a lot of this stuff as she isn’t grafting as an ‘influencer’ and the lifestyle stuff - like the NYE sword champagne - and pics/videos with her kids should be kept for her family and friends and will only invite trouble.
He was out on the pitch with everyone
Just looking at Klopp’s update on the official website:
He seems to say that Salah and VVD were taken off as a precaution. Robertson had cramp.
I think there is a case for having all three on the bench even if they are passed fit. We have plenty of CB cover and Tsimikas is almost at a fully-fit Robertson level anyway. As for Salah, We can shuffle the front three and stick him on for 30 minutes if he is up for it.
Lotta shopping to do Linda…I could save your seat for you…
Over the past 20 years I’ve probably missed more finals than I’ve watched. If you asked me to name the las 5 finals, fuck even just the winners, anything I got right would be by luck. So I really surprised myself by how much I enjoyed the win. If I’m honest, I think it was less about me and more about seeing how much the lads wanted it.
I think this tells us that the cup does still mean a lot even when for most of the season it doesnt really feel like it. And while the diminishment of the cup is natural given the increasing money in the game and increased shadow of the CL, I think a lot of this changed perception of the cup falls directly at the feet of the FA. Semis at Wembley, moving it from its traditional 3pm kick off. But this year, putting the cup final the week before the end of the league season is an abomination. I thought the game turned into a terrible spectacle. For 60 minutes it was decent, but for the next 60 minutes it was awful. I was 22 top class players looking like they wanted to do the bare minimum to force a win. I dont mean that as a criticism as it’s the natural consequence of having players already running on empty yet playing what is supposed to be a curtain to the season while knowing they all have important league games coming up right after this that they need to win. The scheduling fucked the day as an event, but made the game as a spectacle even worse and none of that is on the players who despite playing stretches at walking pace put superhuman effort into it.
Don’t remember seeing this tweet/picture posted on here. Encouragements from Hendo and Bobby (cool stance), Young TAA with the calm gestures, fist pump “you can do it” gesture from Joel. Diogo is a nervous wreck. Milly with the big bro pose. Ibou, hmmm, wonder what he’s thinking, dinner?
Bobby
“Gammon” is an insult based on skin colour.
It is therefore racist. Please don’t use it.
I am a Scouser born and bred and understand exactly why the National Anthem and the William were booed.
Can anyone explain why “Abide with Me” was booed ?
I wondered about the booing of ‘Abide with me’ as well? I’ve always loved singing it in church. A real traditional hymn.
still buzzing after the FA Cup final win last Saturday, watching practically all the vids on YT, and some even two or more times. I do feel sorry for Taki, who did contribute to the cup run, I guess it’s a measure of how much we should (and I am sure we all do), appreciate the level of squad strength that Klopp and all his staff have brought to our club. Sometimes words are difficult to find (think of) to really express the feelings towards the whole squad, Klopp and his complete team
I believe it is aimed at white skinned people who become pink in the face when angry about stuff like Brexit, therefore I will continue to use it ta.
If you think that is racist I can’t help you.
John Cleese comes to mind.
Having avoided the shootout watching that on repeat after the game I burst out laughing
Get a load of this.
I can’t be arsed reading this but Manchester was the most radical City in the UK it’s always been anti establishment and generally leftie, it’s far clearer than Liverpool’s which took a leftward turn only in the later half of the last century.*
Again the two fan bases try and find differences were they are lacking though I’d question if some of them have ever actually gone to Manchester, they certainly have no clue of its history.
*Though of course it’s always had strongholds.
