Can we play you every week?

Bajcetic MOTM; excellent shift from Darwin, too. Also good to see Mo back on the scoresheet and Gakpo get his first goal for us.

The charge up the table starts here.

Love this place when everyone’s happy. Long may it continue.

Competitive from start to end. We wanted to win. We wanted to turn this around. Need to show this every single match from now on to get into CL places.

Surprisingly demure performance from Everton.

excellent confidence boosting win in what could be the last Merseyside derby for a few seasons.

Good to see the boys winning and playing with more confidence even if is against relegation fodder.

That’s the best we have played all season. Better than City and Bournemouth. Complete performance.

So refreshing to see us fight, to see some heart and desire… that’s all that’s needed, and it’s always enough.

Onwards you fuckers.

Bajcetic is some talent, insane composure and ability at 18… going to save us some pennies…

YES! That was our Liverpool FC again. A dynamic, energetic performance, with everyone staying fully engaged and concentrated for the full game.

A really, really satisfying evening, that! YEAHHHHHH!!!

Edit: I should add that it was the real LFC around the pitch too. Anfield was bouncing tonight, and it was great to hear! :ok_hand:

Definitely think there was a meaningful change of mentality in the midfield. Three dogs in the middle, not moving much, hold the middle. It was much more balanced, much better.

Let the forwards and wing backs create stuff, we don’t need midfielders to do that when we have so much creativity and talent elsewhere.

This is a blueprint to work with. It won’t always be this easy - Everton are shit - but its something to build on.

Brilliant performance. Captain set the tone, and Salah, Gakpo, Nunez, And the fullbacks responded.

But Stefan Bajcetic. Fuck sake. Unreal stuff from the 18 year old. Thrown into a Merseyside Derby most would have said would be too intense for him, and emerges as the stand out player. What a player he is going to be.

That toe to toe run and slide to win the ball off Iwobi on our left sideline…

A few candidates for man of the match tonight. Bajcetic, Henderson, Gakpo, Salah, Robertson, Nunez. We just had to beat these cunts and did so with ease, shame we didn’t get another couple our play deserved. Onwards and upwards top 4 here we come. :grinning:

Unbelievable game from Bajetic. Sky is the limit for that kid. Not sure where that intensity has been for past 2-3 months, but at least it’s back. Beat Newcastle and Madrid and all of a sudden the season is looking different!

Yes Everton are shite, but can only play whats in front of you.
Very encouraging. A lot more energy and heart.
Lets build from this please lads !

Huge improvement throughout the team. Everyone did their bit. Bajcetic was really impressive for a lad that age. Gakpo showed at times what he can do. Just need to sharpen our finishing up now.
