if that was Coleman sliding in the box,
and unintentionally bringing down Salah and denying him a goal scoring chance,
there would be an uproar on here, screaming for a pen.
like it or not,
its a penalty,
its shit, as there is nothing TAA could do to get out of the way,
but he gets in Richarlisons way, and brings him down.
Michael Owen and Russel Osman both claiming he hooked his foot up, definate penalty, probably should have been a red. Dermott Gallagher suggested definate penalty but on review because Phillips is so close, his first instinct that it should have been a red hes willing to back track on.
i think my screen is damaged as just at the point of the viscious red card offence it buffers and all i get to see is the Ev player running into TAAs head.
snarky jokes aside…(.i dont want to believe in conspiracies…id prefer to think of it as mistakes…but im past that now.)…you cant possible watch that replay, look into a camera and seriously suggest thats a penalty in the game we all grew up loving…surely…
edit…gallagher saying it WAS a red card on review…all agree Liverpool got a favourable decision as TAA should probably miss the next few games…
i refuse to lose interest though i understand your frustration, but i think Klopp deserves us to watch and cheer his Liverpool on, even as remote as we are…
I don’t think so. If I thought it was a penalty I’d say so, there’s absolutely no point in denying a penalty, especially when the evidence is there for all to see on camera.
There’s no way that today is a penalty, it’s a ridiculous decision. But if you think it is, you’re entitled to your opinion.
I don’t know if it would help or not. But I’d rather we did it anyway. What have we got to lose? We haven’t had a decision all season. Call these cunts out. Let everyone know we know what’s going on.
Eh he doesn’t make contact when sliding in when Alisson makes the save Trent is now in front of Calvin-Lewin he doesn’t have to move if anything Calvert-Lewin comes through back of him.
I can’t believe I’m actually reading this shite! Am I living in some sort of parallel universe, where they’ve changed the rules of the game and pundits haven’t got a fucking clue what they’re talking about? Sorry, of course I am.
I haven’t lost interest, not at all. I’m looking at next season and the scores to be settled and I just hope JK and the players are thinking about that as well.
As for this season I refuse to watch because if I want to watch corruption and bullshit I’ll put one of my lads’ old WWE dvd’s on. It’s that feeling of not having any influence over proceedings and not being able to make my voice heard like I normally can.
I’m sure it does, but I couldn’t bring myself to watch MOTD. Besides, I saw enough of the incident in real time, to be certain it wasn’t a penalty. It was a disgraceful, corrupt decision.
another absolutely brutal performance. i suppose we should have seen it coming, klopp’s dortmund team collapsed in his 6th season. we’ll do well to finish top 10 at this rate. the team needs a major rebuild but without the cl money we won’t be able to afford it. we’re screwed.
Var isn’t the problem…its being used by the same incompetent cretins who get all the decisions wrong every week when on the pitch so they will get them wrong when off it.
Have you seen the sheff United penalty claim tonight? Guy nearly has his legs snapped in half by Fulham keeper. No pen. Var have said it’s a good tackle.
Complete incompetence again.
Or how about we try and get VVD, Matip, Gomez, Fabinho, Jota, Keita, Milner, Henderson back to fitness, sell some of the deadwood and get 1 or 2 new faces in, spend a bit of time integrating Minamino and Tiago into a fully-functioning team, give the lads who’ve played week-in, week-out because we can’t rotate a bit of a rest and see where we are then?
Or is that all too much to ask?
