Agree with this except I’d say the problem was Alexis only. Really has been off the pace for us this season and hopefully Curtis gets some more game time until Alexis gets up to speed (no doubt just in time for the Internationals and he’ll come back fucked again).

I won’t bother watching MOTD tonight. We’re top of the league on maximum points , but we’ll get all the criticism. Everton will get all the praise and Grealish will be the best player in the Premier league.

That goal situation came about because the referee didn’t give a free kick to us instead decided to play the advantage in a situation where there was no point to playing the advantage. Everton had their people back by then.

We were average this game and this season. Still good enough to get 5 wins out of 5.

He’s usually fairly good at that. My issue with him this season is he gave the ball away far too often (including for the goal) and was poorly positioned. Hopefully the real Alexis will be back soon

Clubs should have the power to refuse call ups. Especially when the qualification is all but guaranteed.
I think this makes it imperative that we get Guehi done in the winter window and more importantly get an extra body in midfield at the Jan window. If Bajcetic proves up to the task , that’s gonna be very huge for us.
We need to be resting Grav , Mac and Dom whenever we can.

He did frequently rotate with him when he was here.
He may be playing too many minutes, but I suspect it’s more that he still hasn’t adjusted to our new players. He has Kerkez with him on the wing and Ekitiké/Isak up front and Wirtz behind. It will take time.
When he signed, he looked good but not spectacular. I think it will come, but an obvious backup would be desirable.

Grealish needs a pack of nappies for Christmas. I don’t think that I’ve ever seen a bigger baby in my life. He spent most of the game moaning to the ref. Just a talented baby.
