Some people really are deluded. I don’t know who Jeff Sax is, but I don’t think they’ve realised that we were effectively cheated out of 5 points so far, and arguably another 2.

TNT Sports making a big deal about the handball. Arm out, and stays out.

Had it been the other way round, it would be a one small comment of, yess it’s a pen, and talk point over.

I genuinely thought that was a textbook handball. Happy to be corrected by our resident referees.

Konaté on the other hand I did think should be off, but @Limiescouse @Sportbilly1966 ?

I don’t know what happened there. We just didn’t manage to score as freely as I had predicted. Perhaps our strike force is adverse to rain?
Even so 2-0 will do, it’s almost the same in fact as long as at the end of the season we don’t lose out due to goal difference.
Anyway Nunez changes us imo just up for it all the time stretching defenses

That was a clear penalty. Arm extended and moving towards the ball.

I wrote this in the pre-match thread.

Ashley Young kicked the ball away when on a yellow, so his second yellow on Diaz was his third flare up point.

He had his warning with the kicking the ball away. Konate was foolish, and had he stayedon the field, any foul would bring out the second yellow.

Was a clear handball, I don’t know why anyone is arguing against it.

Young should have been off for kicking the ball away.

No way Konate’s was a second yellow. It was barely a foul.
