Some dreadful stuff from VVD today. He really needs to own the captaincy but just doesn’t. Unfortunate as for so long he provided so much.

Yes and No - the consistent trick is he is going to favor his right foot and go that way most of the time. Although he does flash skill on his left on occasion he should probably trust going on to his left more to have that diversity of play.
But - yeah, he was good and possibly more effective on the right than he has been on the left. We need at least one more winger in if we are going to let him leave.

Both the offside and the penalty decisions were decided by Oliver not the ref the commentators confirmed that.

I think we are, considering the new manager is doing his best to cobble a team together while the club is scurrying around to get him decent players in the next couple of days.

The ref gave the penalty originally that gave Oliver the option not to over turn it.

What was up with the sub boards? Really amateurish.
4th official seemed to get flustered doing 3 at once.
When you have Jason Cundy saying its not a penalty its a clue its not seeing he never has a good word to say about Liverpool.

Just realized that our first home match in 26/27 did not field a UK player in the first XI. At least our subs addressed that.
I hope we improve soon, once we get a few new players in. 
I would say two draws aren’t bad . I think the old players will have to get used to new manager’s style and adjust with the new players.
