Post match: Liverpool v Fulham (7/3/21 2.00pm)

Klopp going… I hope it doesn’t happen but the vibe I am getting from him is that it might happen… something is lacking in him. Not sure what but 6 he
Losses in a row… he should be going bananas however all I am reading is “it’s a game of fine margins bollocks”.

Whereas Gerrard has done well at Rangers I don’t want to see him here for another 3-4 seasons.

If he was here next season, with these players doing what they are doing at the moment he could quite easily become another Lampard and I don’t want that.

6 months ago I thought that Klopp had a job for life… now I am looking round and thinking who is a potential upgrade on what we’ve currently got. Like I said I don’t want him to go but for the first time I actually think it might happen.

I cannot believe that we were unbeaten at home
For what… 3 years and now this complete fucking shower of shit.

What I learned from the last 2 months is that we need a big clear out.A lot of our players aren’t as good as they think they are.

After Wigan won today we are now 92nd of 92 league clubs for points won at home in 2021.

So, when does Klopp start seeing some pressure? No other big club would let this bullshit roll on this long without consequences.

What do you mean by consequences?

Whatever it needs to mean. This is beyond injury consequences and anyone that continues using that is ignoring just how bad things are, and the fact our form was heading this way long before injuries took their toll. Our form since the lockdown has been absolutely atrocious. There is more to this than injuries, Klopp looks absolutely done and the players literally look like they don’t give a single fuck.

The thinly veiled Klopp out comments are embarrassing.

I’d suggest it’s fatigue at the highest level. The lads have battled through an injury crisis and now have nothing left in the tank.

I‘m totally speechless.
Yes, we‘ve had some bad luck with injuries, mostly at CB. Midfielders and our front three were most of the time fit, bar Jota and Thiago.
I can‘t imagine our players have forgotten how to play football.
I get the feeling there is something wrong behind the scenes.

Why is everyone looking for reasons. The players are knackered.

Because that’s a pathetic excuse.

Merely asking the question, because at some point, it has to be asked.

You don’t have to share your internal conflict here

Isn’t this a place where fans come together to share their views…

Nope not if your view is different to what others think it should be.

Maybe the last three years of intense football is catching up with the team. Milner, Hendo and Gini aren’t spring chickens anymore, coupled with a defence that’s been blown to smithereens early in the season. Without the press our makeshift defence is an accident waiting to happen. There are no bad teams in the Premiership. We saw that today. Fulham, in danger of relegation, made us look ordinary - at home. The whole balance of the team is out of kilter and, as a result, average teams can give us a good game. Is it any one person’s fault? I don’t think so. Nobody saw this coming. What can we do? There is no chance of us magically regaining our top form. The manager needs to realise that the players he has at his disposal now aren’t able to execute his game plan. Therefore he needs to earn his salary and come up with a system that will suffice until the end of the season. The question after that is whether certain players have reached the point where they are unlikely to match former glories. If not, we need to start looking for quality replacements. Additionally, it would help to keep the opposition guessing as to how we intend to play. At the mo everyone knows how we are going to be set up.

Why are they 6 consecutive home defeats scoring 1 goal. 12 points from the last 36 available is reason enough for it to be discussed.

I’m fully aware of the stats, Martin Tyler repeats them every 5 minutes.

Why are they? They are to anyone whose memory extends back 5 years rather than 5 weeks.
