You’ve absolutely nailed it in one small paragraph.

Does anyone know of any analysts that have or are looking at our current play and have a written an article on it? I’m not talking of your average BBC / Sky pundit, someone who actually knows some shit.

I’d be interested to read the differences between us 12 months ago and now. What were we doing differently then etc.

Ha Ha, ‘Liverpool press’. Nobody cares. At least they get payed for writing drivel.

@jaffod @Draexnael

Both of you stop it now, please.

Not sure if you have access to the Athletic but Pearce wrote a good article after Chelsea.

We are a fucking embarrassment.

That team selection was a fucking joke for a team so void of confidence.

Klopp, not for the first time with a odd team selection and awful awful substitutions.

Nailed it. FA’s job is done, confidence has been smashed, form is in smithereens and the season is a write off. Just as well we got to 40 points or we’d be in serious danger of being relegated. That’s the best I can say about this car crash of a season, I can’t wait for it to be over. I’ll watch the champions league games but I don’t think I can take much more of the PL and the gleeful commentary accompanying it. Its bad enough that the stadiums are empty without having to watch the TV with the sound on mute as well.

Fair call, but conversely when we are playing well, like we were the last few seasons, we got the bounce of the ball, opp keepers made mistakes (Henderson Shef Utd) and opp attackers snatched and missed goals they should have scored.

Ha have you seen or form?

What happens when we play a team considered “one of the best in Europe”

We can’t beat the bottom 6 of the premier league we’re gonna get embarrassed in Europe if we play somebody decent whilst this lot continue to insist on being huge shit houses instead of mentality monsters.

Fucking state on what this team has become…

Well we have a two goal lead from first leg :leg: in which we played well and the officials gave us free kicks when our players were fouled.

I haven’t looked but Scisports or Statsbomb might have something.

I wonder if this team would have continued to play this badly if the fans were back in Anfield?

I also wonder how long the crowd would have tolerated their underperformance before making their feelings known…

Liverpool has a long tradition of support for their team no matter what…but I think this would have been sorely tested.

Juergen has also got off lightly for his management in this crisis. He doesn’t look that bothered. It’s not like him…

It all feels like it’s preparation for a change at the end of the season. It would not surprise me now if Juergen has asked to leave early and it’s already been agreed.

With Stevie G completing the revival at Rangers, we could possibly be in for a handover at the end of the season or even a period of joint management with Klopp staying on until the end of the year while Stevie gets his feet under the table…

Hard to believe this team won the title last season. Probably because it didn’t.
