We could get him after Pulis’ 6 months are up. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Should be.

Yeah, let’s start right now eh? Sounds like that’s what you want.

It’s going to be a long wait for Neco if he makes it.

I would rule Ian Rush out of the running.

Mods, this is the post match thread, not the Klopp future one. Any chance please?

Let’s give warnock a chance.

I thought we were ok. Cannot real find the issue. Confidence? Fatigue?

Still well ahead of Ryan Gigs.

After today’s loss top 4 is not possible. Let’s give it all in Champions League. Premier League is written off and no point in qualifying for Europa League. Atleast give it a proper shot in the league without Europa League distractions.

Didn’t you just say it was the midfield or is that just your kneejerk reaction from the Hendo, Milner and Gini days?

The mention of midfield reminded me of a moment from the first half where there was a huge space between our midfield and defence occupied by 4 Fulham players. They looked as if they were about to overwhelm our defence but fortunately we got away with it. I was astonished by that.

We miss Hendo. Leadership, drive counts for a lot.

Actually looking back is important. It tells you that less than a year ago people were debating if this is the best manager and team we’ve ever had. So then you can start to analyse the factors that have affected us this season without writing them off as clueless bottlers

Agree. It’s so hard to figure. But we were a machine. All parts functioning. Together.

I was in the ground the night we drew 0-0 with West Ham, under Rafa in 2008, to go top and the team got boo’ed off. That was a low that’s stuck with me but fuck me, I think what I’m reading now might top it.
This club was top of the table little more than 2 months ago despite suffering a horrendous injury crisis and being regularly fucked over by officials. The results we were getting were unsustainable under the circumstances.
Does it really take so little time for the whoppers to turn on the best manager we’ve had for 4 decades? There are people on here who are genuinely agitating for Klopp to be hounded out. Talking like it’s a normal season and we’ve had our first choice 11 on the pitch all along.
Absolutely fucking shameful and unforgiveable.

This. FSG have to allow the manager to build a squad with enough depth of quality. Playing the same three forwards again and again will only lead to them being burnt out- as they are.

So, unfortunately as ever in football these days it comes down to spending money. Given our incredibly low net spend, the club has a lot of catching up to do. I suppose that will mean FSG will sell our most valuable asset even though he is the one we should build the team around - Mo Salah.

Yes, I would like the manager to be under some pressure given on form, we are the worst team in the league for the last 4 months. It’s a results driven industry and we aren’t getting them.

We lost Lovren!
