The win is all that matters and I won’t complain too much.

With 2-0 at HT why not try to build some confidence in the second?

1st Half was brilliant. Rio and Salah had great finishes. Who knew that a Jones and Szobo pivot was pretty balanced as we never tried that combo before…

2nd half was a lack of control and Gakpo reverted back to type after going back to the LW…

I am quite stunned to hear this is our first league win since February! WTF!

A much needed win after the recent lackluster performances.

Rio brightening up the left flank with a superb goal, and Salah getting the second to ease the tension in the crowd.

Curtis, when played with more defensive responsibities, puts in a shift. Unlucky with the injury. Hopefully not a serious problem.

On to Tuesday.

Was a good performance, first half was really good, second a bit messy but did like how we hit a number of counter attacks.

It’s good to win but frustrating all the same that this hasn’t happened a lot more, anyhow added a bit of gap

We did try it and it worked well

His name is Rio Ngumoha.

Remember the name.

Peace out.

Still mathematically able to win the title. The comeback of all comebacks is on.

Also mathematically safe from relegation.

Proverbial glass half full/empty types pick your poison.

Got to take what we can right now. Exciting performance from Rio. Salah looked good after a midweek rest and hopefully does him a world of good confidence wise for Tuesday. Isak getting more minutes under his belt with Ekitike getting some rest also.

PSG and the Bitters away in the next couple games. Huge week ahead.

The 2 goals were the highlight of an otherwise unremarkable game. Decent for 60 minutes, mediocre for the rest. Still a marked improvement compared to what we’ve been getting lately.

It’s going to take a lot more to even have a chance on Tuesday.

A good first half but back to the poor standard that we’ve been dishing up for most of the season. Lucky that Fulham couldn’t finish the chances they had second half and we limped through to the end for a good three points. Can’t see what Gakpo brings to the party but one good bit of news was that Konate did okay tonight.

Today was a bit different…The team seems to have a lot more urgency with the CMs not venturing to the penalty box…The full backs are staying wide and trying to stretch play by going to the byline. Gakpo had one job which is to hold up play and it worked too…Rio had also one job offensive which is to take on his man…All these was seen in the first half and yielded 2 goals.

The second half was a reversion to a typical sluggish Slot side…

It is like as if the players themselves decides to take more risks, only for Slot to wind it in the second half..m

I’m more than happy with the 3 points. I’m wondering if Fulham were rusty in the first half and our midweek game affected us in the second?

Rio MotM. Delighted for the lad. Salah had his best game for a while, and he and Robbo showed why we will still miss them.

Three points, keeps up the fight for a CL spot, hopefully Chelsea drop points tomorrow.

Rio motm by a wide margin. Curtis Jones had a very good first half too, and hopefully it’s only precautionary or minor. It was nice to see Salah score a good goal. He was deservedly on the bench against PSG but he was bright today.

The performance level was much better than most of what we’ve served up this season, and I think it was Slot’s first win over Fulham. But obviously there were still some issues, and we lost control in the second half as they piled on a bit more pressure.

Three points. Clean sheet. Two well taken goals. A better performance. A bright young star staking his claim. A respectfully observed protest before kick-off, then the crowd were behind the team. An old lion showing he’s still got some fight, as he felt the love of the crowd.

Lots to like.

I wouldn’t agree that much the second half was massively poor and we were lucky. Certainly set up to counter in the second and that’s fine as long as they do it and not just pass it around and send it back to VVD or Konate.

Doesn’t change my mind about what should happen come the summer.

Very good first half, even though we still looked vulnerable when Fulham counter attacked. Second half not so good, I don’t know what Slot says to them at half time, but we always resume slow and very sloppy. Anyway we got 3 points, move on.
