One goes IN in style, one goes OUT in style ![]()
First half good, second half poor.
I wanted Slot to bring Isak on and leave Wirtz on the pitch to see how they would link.
Rio HAS to start on Tuesday.
I know the second half was poor but there was more control to the game than we have achieved for a while and a win is a win and on Tuesday with the crowd turbo charging the team and with the right mix of tactics you never know.
• We finally won a game. We needed that!
• A very rare clean sheet.
• Rio wonderful, a joy to watch
• Good to see Salah scoring again.
• We looked so tired after 70 min. that’s obviously a problem
• Big week coming up.
Despite the second half, at this point of the season and especially in our current situation all that matters is the three points imo. It looks increasingly likely that we’ll be going into the new season with a different manager, and I’d rather he had CL football than not.
That we are all pleased and relieved to have won a home game against Fulham speaks volumes about the slo-mo, risk averse, passionless Eredivisie team we have become !
We’ve won 1 of our past 6 games against Fulham. We’d be pleased to beat them at any time
Good win.
Same score line midweek will make it interesting on the night!
Salah played like he’d had a huge weight lifted from his shoulders
Slot is indicating that Curtis Jones has some sort of groin injury and will be unavailable for the PSG game. It’s a pity, because I thought he was quite effective in the first half.
I decided to watch the match in language other than English, really good without the usual crap and bias commentaries.
A win. Clean sheet. Two brilliant individual goals. However, not really a memorable match (Ngumoha would definitely disagree!).
We played differently, almost as if the players said fuck this, and did their own thing.
I disagree the 2nd half we reverted to this risk adverse plodding football club.
Yes, that must be what it is.
Every time we play a decent game and win convincingly, at least one of our players injures himself. This has been a constant throughout this season, with a few rare exceptions.
Still a very satisfying afternoon. More than deserved, with a fine first half display, two very nice goals and a controlled performance until fatigue started to kick in.
Fify
Why? Did you injure yourself?
About time you agreed with something I said, and thankfully there is not a sarcastic bone in your body.
They were noticeably quicker turning defence into attack. Less ponderous.
There were subtle signs improvement today, but some of the old as well.

I saw a significant improvement with Mo, Wirtz and Frimpong interplay.
