It’s still early days but Tsimikas is giving Robertson a run for his money. In the midfield it’s a toss-up between Keita and Thiago depending on our purpose, while in attack, it’s between Jota and Bobby.

I may be incorrect on this, but I think he got lucky. Was diving to try and save the first shot and just happened to be perfectly placed to save the new path of the ball after Jota’s header.
Haven’t watched a replay though.

Only issue I had about tonight was the situation with Covid otherwise I’d have been happier with a slightly stronger team possibly the one we saw in the second.

I’m confused by this too. I’ve grown up here in Leicester and whilst the majority of MPs in the county are Tory i’ve never felt that was overwhelming the impression the place gives off.
The fact unemployment is higher here than in Liverpool and we have plenty of very deprived areas makes me think it’s s lack of original thinking than an actual belief in these chants.
Shameful really and I’m regularly called a bin-dipper supporter by people you know know better.

That was fucking sweet. Oh yes. That 2nd half was immense. The real Liverpool. 1st half was shocking, could have been 5 or 6-1 but the mad thing was all their goals and chances came from our fuck-ups. Koumetio and Bradley were completely out of their depth.
2nd half we were brilliant to a man. Thought we’d left too much to do but you can never write these boys off in situations like that.
Hope Steptoe is out for the season along with the other 2 gobshites who went off.

Absolutely made up with that. Before the game I couldn’t really be too bothered about it, and I was thinking about covid, too many games, AFCON, etc. It’s not that you ever want to lose a game, but when I saw the line ups I sort of just assumed our fourth priority would slide by.
But then we went and did THAT and everything that’s good about the game just lifted the mood. It was brilliant. Well done you red men.
As for the semi final, is it set in stone that it has to be two legs? Is there any way to get it reduced to a one off game?
