Post match: Liverpool v Luton Town (EPL 21/2/24 7.30pm)

Probably Milner and Hendo raised any age of our teams with injuries in the last few years.

Hard to name a MotM, as it was a strange game. All players had moments where they were unplayable and at same time they were frustrating.

So… I am not going to vote. However, I will say that it was probably Gravenberchs’ best performance. I look forward to seeing him develop with game time.

Very angry Rob I’m afraid, you tried to take the title away from us!!

Oh I have to say, Rob Edwards is quite a nice looking chap for an English footie manager in these modern times. :joy:

The last time Bradley faced Chelsea he was man of the match.

I quite like Rob Edwards, he seems to have a good relationship with his players and comes across honest and genuine.

Yeah Lockyear was saying some lovely things about him. Klopp-like approach

Just got back from a day of skiing, missed the match but looks like it went as expected.

Happy for Danns - he deserves that after being in such good form for the U21s and U18s. Hes not like Cannonier, who scored lots but doesn’t have anything in his game to suggest a PL future - Danns has a wide skillset and a real chance of making it at this level.

Sometimes we use the words mere formality but unfortunately that doesn’t apply in the Premier League. However 4-1 is literally just that. Wow this club is producing some players. Long may it continue.
.
Ps. What a gracious man the Luton Manager is. They should be proud of the moment he created.

He looked good. Less like a boy than the others. Big, strong and a couple of nice touches. Could have had a goal but Harvey took it off his toes and finished

On the TV, Anfield seemed really loud, would love to hear from anyone there in person on the atmosphere.

How the hell does he keep saying all the right things, all the time? How can you be one of his players and not be willing to go through bricks walls for him?

Saying that he’ll be dearly missed feels like an understatement.

Wasn’t great first half, pretty frustrating because we played well but were just poor in the final 3rd, however, the crowd didn’t get on the players backs at all really.
2nd half the crowd really got behind the team. Not just once we equalised but when it was still 0-1. Those 15 minutes at the start of the 2nd half were as good as it’s been all season. Stayed decent after that but I think everyone knew it was game over, even at 2-1.
Quansah and Bradley look like they’ve been regulars for years, incredible really. Even the likes of Clark, McConnell and Danns look like they fit right in. Whoever takes over from JK is going to be blessed with an amazing squad.

Just saw the highlights and couldn’t believe Diaz in the first half. To say he could have had a hat trick would be an understatement.
Fair play to him for not letting his head drop and finally getting a well taken goal in the second.

To steal a line…Never in doubt! not really but giving away a consolation goal early is a concern,But if that is what it takes to make us unplayable…still fraught with peril.
Impressed with Rob Edwards, his line about making us angry was a classic.
The young lads continue to impress,Brady in particular is looking amazing.
MOTM not easy…again.Endo by a nose!
