I try to tell people over here that there is no head coach or manager in the world like this fellow. In any way/shape/form.

When I attempt to describe him, they look at me like I am speaking Klingon. “No way this guy exists!”

Been wondering this myself, the cunt.

Loved that game:-

The passion from the players, manager and crowd was immense, the never say die attitude from Elliot & Diaz

The fight and guile from Endo and Macallister.

The imperious performance of our back 4

Motm lots in with a very good shout but for me it was Diaz, just never stopped even though he fluffed his lines in front of goal, back to his best.

That was a good overall performance, 1st half we played well but didn’t have our shooting boots, 2nd half just incessant pressure

fucking banter TV from ex pros…its infiltrated every sport and its actually embarrassing to watch…

or should i say…‘forced’ banter TV…some of the natural stuff like Kerry OKeefe (Aussie Cricket) is genuinely funny and insightful…

I know he’s not gonna be in anyone’s shout for MOTM today but again I liked the bits and pieces I saw from Grav today. He’ll turn out boss sooner he can put together all the neat and tidy things he does well over a stretch of games.

Lol, you picking on me :sleepy:

He’s been one of the players of this match for me, alongside like 10 others but still.

He’s low-key developing into a very effective allround midfielder.

How the hell is he employed by every channel?

Even Carragher doesn’t do BBC.

Anyhow

Gently removing the urine

Good to see Elliott can start and finish a game well with a goal in the 90th minute. He is not just an impact sub. What a player he will become.

Maybe but, again for me, it was the first time he looked on top of everything and in sync with the people behind him. Endo playing seems to facilitate his role further up and possibly also having Elliot there next to him.

He has confidence that Endo is behind him and can therefore aggressively press from the 8 position, he along with Elliot were little terriers, although atm Mac is better at it that Harvey

There are plenty of heroes in this match. It all started way back in last August when LFC bought the right midfielder from Brighton, Alexis Macallister.

Macca started the comeback with 2 brilliant assists. One from a corner that TAA would be proud of, one from the byline that the old TAA will be proud of.

The 3rd goal comes from a classic Robbo press and intercept. Really love that desire from him.

The fourth goal is the result of the Academy being so well-planned during Klopp’s era. Jayden Danns through pass is so immaculate that Luton couldn’t stop it totally without it spilling to any LFC players nearby.

Luton are hard to create against and the results generally suggest that over the season.

Thats what once we went ahead I focused most on for me.

Suggests we can come through this period but as Klopp said Chelsea are favourites on Sunday due to circumstances

Wow! Thought it was going to be one of those games where we couldn’t buy a goal at half time. Virgil’s goal changed all that and if their keeper hadn’t made some smart saves it could have been a lot more. A really good all around team performance. Diaz should have made it a bit more comfortable if he’d taken his first half chances but to be fair to the lad he kept bang at it and gave 100%.
