Fuck off Roy
i dont think that is what folks are saying⌠he is just a very frustrating player, who seems to have more down days than up and then you couple that with the decision-making and missesâŚthen its a clusterfuck
Thatâs true but itâll be a different game. Arsenal arenât going to sit deep with two banks of 4. Donât think much that happened today can be taken as instructive of next weeks game.
Yes, the goals were more, grantedâŚbut I remember tons of misses too, and hitting the bar way too oftenâŚcriticized tooâŚand Nunez did start the season well, just hasnât been scoring for a few games now. I wouldnât bury him just yet.
Not trying to point out heâll turn out to be a Suarez for us, that would be nonsense to ask from any player, just that Suarez had a lot of misses and later on turned into a prime scorerâŚ
10 games without a goal in this spell for Nunez, previous for that it was 6.
I disagree in regards to Mo, he has overall been playing poorly, giving the ball away loads, but has then popped up with an assist or a couple of goals, making it look like he has been fantastic.
You can shove your humble pie up your arse, @PeachesEnRegalia.
We were the moral winners.
Yep, canât argue with that. He does frustrateâŚhope turns out good soon, a goal would be so important for him vs Arsenal.
I used to make so much fun of Werner and his offsides, and then âŚâŚ
So hes our top scorer and top assister still.
why do you guys even waste time listening to these sky fools⌠When the game is over, I switch off the tv⌠I come here to read from you knowledgeable pundits âŚnot those sky fucks
Seriously? He may have been our best player. Gravs was excellent as well before going off with an injury.
BBC news have just described the game as âa thrilling goalless drawâ.
Yeah, Iâm aware of the numbers and he does frustrate. I just donât agree with any notion that one and a half seasons of not getting where is expected means he wonât be player for us, or that 25 means he wonât get better.
Suarez wasnât realiant on running in behind Nunez is take that away from him like teams have realised hes not bringing anything.
Virgil should have added âbut we didnât know how to overcome thatâ.
My gripe is there is no signs of improvement same problems exist now as what did in August last year.
Utd weâre there for the taking, we were so poor. If we had score one, the floodgates wouldâve been opened. We didnât really threaten Utd at all today, aside from a few close chances that fizzle out. From what I saw, we donât play enough incision passes through the middle to break their lines. Too often we get push to the touch line and force to recycle the ball over and over again. The other problem we have are our forwards canât beat anyone 1v1. Diaz just doesnât have it this year, I donât know if itâs the injury or what but heâs a step or two behind. Nunez is quick but heâs always offside . MO is still good but donât have the afterburner pace he uses to have.
I thought Endo played well, but sometimes he needs to be braver and play the forward passes rather then go back to to the CB. Szbo I donât know what happened to him, so indecisive on the ball and what happened to the runs he was making, charging forward and attacking the defenders head on. Graverberch was good but can be better.
I felt when Taa started playing No.6 we had more chances but we were still spending too much time dwelling on the ball on the final third of the pitch.
We need to change up the midfield for the Arsenal game, we are just too stale in the middle. Thereâs no urgency and intensity, especially at Anfield.
Canât afford to drop points on games we should be winning. Utd arenât strong we were just piss poor, so frustrating . Hopefully next week we get our act together.
YNWA
can even argue there is a slight regression in his overall play
I will say the exact same thing, with one word added.
