Will Slot ever instruct Trent to make a straight ground pass to Salah with two defenders covering Salah, and that too from his own half when all attackers are moving to their box? It happened atleast 4-5 times and he lost the ball every time. People just are trying to hide his shite performance because of his cockyness. After the first half cross think around 10 th minute he didn’t overlap Salah even once.

The statistics show that in terms of defensive actions, he had an absolute nightmare.
But that had nothing to do with your complaint about him, nor the second goal, which is positioning.

He was very defensive in first half. It was obvious that Slot asked him to play further forward as their midfield weren’t under enough pressure. Yes, Trent should have figured out that they were still targeting our right and moved back. But the pile on from our fans is fucking ridiculous

All this suggests that players are just robots and can’t think/react for themselves, Trent is vice captain and should have more tactical understanding.
Arne isn’t rigid as wasn’t Jurgen in what he instructs players to do, Trents positional sense today was poor today, it is you trying to defend it that I find hard.

Yup did more in defence and attack in his first 5mins than Trent did all game. Some fans have short memories though and I find the pile on a bit sickening
