You are a hater. You have absolutely nothing to base this on. Kelleher played because otherwise, heā€™d cause an issue? Come on now.

To be fair, we are shit.

Itā€™s just that the other nineteen teams are even shittier.

The only problem with that is most of the players go away to play for their international teams, so donā€™t really get that break, and will look spent in our next game as most will have only returned 2-3 days before our next game

Not to mention numerous wishful transfer outgoings which have nothing to do with the match today

Thought Mo did Quansah no favours at all today when it came to playing through the press.

Like, you know heā€™s not as confident/able on the ball as a traditional right back so show for him and make it easy as possible, instead half the time Quansah had the ball Mo is drifting into number 9 positions. Madness.

But it will be good for them just to experience a different energy with their national teams. its been a rough week and then its back to one game a weekā€¦

Unless you are having your posts deleted, you are having your say. Stop being a fucking snowflake.

You want to discuss the game. Fine. Discuss it. I donā€™t think stamping you feet about things not being acceptable is a discussion, but each to their own.

This is my take on the game.

We were deservedly beaten in the match by a team who treated it like the most important game of their decade. We were coming off the back of a really tough two game a week run, and got legged over 120mins by PSG a few days ago. We looked very tired, and couldnā€™t get going.

As usual, the ref allowed them to be overly physical, we should have had a penalty in the first half as well.

Itā€™s fine. It happens.

We are 12 clear with nine games to go, so letā€™s focus on how great this team has been this year, and not get on their case because this was a tough game too far.

Fair play to Newcastle, on the night they had more quality, more legs and more desire.

I thought changes should have been made at half time to be honest, no shots in the first half, it clearly wasnā€™t working.

My disappointment for the loss is more for the fact we didnā€™t turn up rather than the loss itself.

Still the lads are going to walk away with the prem title so itā€™s difficult to be too critical.

I see it in a different way, I think if not for the unfortunate injuries to Alexander-Arnold and Bradley, we would have made it through just fine. Losing the former is bad enough, but without the latter to mitigate that, I think weā€™ve done pretty well.

Iā€™d say with at least one of them available, weā€™d still be in the hunt for the Champions League, and the EFL Cup winners.

I always wondered what @The-AllMightyReds looked like.

Thank you for sharing, wasnā€™t so difficult was it? Much better when youā€™re not resorting to calling posters abusive names either.

Clearly itā€™s far easier for some to shrug off such disappointment ā€œAh well, itā€™s just another gameā€¦not the end of the world and we go againā€, fineā€¦youā€™re completely entitled to that, but donā€™t expect everyone to subscribe to that type of thinking and emotion and then put an authoritive stamp on it.

I agree with everything else, but Iā€™m pretty sure this isnā€™t the case, and he started in place of either Mac Allister or Szoboszlai in those games.

Deserved win!

A fit Jota is physical, battles hard and wins lots of duels, the current Jota is a shadow of the player he has been, seems like the injuries have caught up with him.

If Gakpo had been fit, I think, like you, Diaz would have been up top, although when Cody came on I thought Diaz should have gone through the middle instead of Nunez
