If the other forwards had finished the chances created by Bobby, we would all be lamenting what a performance he put in, he should have had 3 assists but for the profligacy of the other forwards

I remember a pundit saying Klopp was the "smiling assassin " and has a ruthless streak. He has been quite soft this season.

I think @Maria that Klopp has been blind sided on a few fronts this season, in his home life and with all that’s gone pear shaped with injuries, covid, empty kop, recent esl stuff included. I honestly think that he will regroup next season and put in another strong performance.

Was that Newcastle goal the most predictable goal ever scored in the history of professional football? Can’t be far off.
Sounds like the same old problem cost us again, profligacy in front of goal.
Today was the first time this season I’ve felt any anger towards the players. All season I’ve been able to see the bigger picture in terms of injuries, bad luck and the fucking diabolical treatment we’ve received from officials but today I felt different - instead of feeling we just need to get our main men back and get some rest over the summer I actually feel the problems are far more severe. I still think we have a very competitive first 11 when everyone is fit but Jurgen has a major job on his hands building a squad where everyone contributes. We have 4 or 5 players who have contributed absolutely fuck all this season and they need binning off in any way possible.
Like most I yearn for this season to end. Can’t be arsed anymore stressing over permutations for finishing top 4, wouldn’t surprise me at all if we finished below West Ham and the blueshite and that would fucking hurt.

Got exactly what we deserved.
As the missed chances mounted up you just knew they would crack and give up the equalizer late on.
Cannot wait for this season to be over, never really got to celebrate the league win and now we follow up with a total choke after Christmas to not even make Europe.
My fav player Bobby but he just offers nothing now. When Mane and Mo where banging them in for fun it wasn’t an issue his lack of goals but when their not he has to be scoring and contributing and he just doesn’t score enough goals.
Can’t see how we hang on to Mo if we miss Europe but in reality getting 150 for him from PSG after Mbappe goes to Real will give us some options to refresh the squad. Its badly needed across all lines now.

For me the we’ve really missed fab in the last 2 games being in the middle. We were so open yesterday from the start. I’m amazed it took Newcastle so long to score.
There’s no excuse not to play fab at CB unless there’s not 1 fit CB at the club and there’s one CB on the bench and another in Davies who has vanished into thin air but is fit.
Ok they aren’t top notch but having fab in the middle protecting them is better than having huge gaps in the middle.
Why isn’t Jurgen using 3 subs when he was moaning about wanting 5?

When Fab went back into midfield we looked a different beast
Annoys me that we shat ourselves and dropped him back into defence first opportunity.
Furthermore since he gone back into defence from midfield he hasn’t been half as impressive as he was during his first stint there

I think it is important that we are in Europe next year even if it is only the Europa league. A lot of squad building needed and a lot of work on the mentality side. A big part of the game is psychological but sadly Jurgen seems to have lost the knack of getting into the players heads.
I feel the same too, this is the first time this season I’ve been properly raging at the players. Specifically for squandering the late let-off. All they had to do was to make sure they didn’t concede a goal in the last 3 minutes, but even that was beyond them.
