Post match: Liverpool v Newcastle (EPL 24/4/21 12.30pm)

If the intent is to avoid playing in Europe next season perhaps they should find a way to hint us the fans. Because nothing about this makes sense

Our finishing was abysmal, Jota was really off the mark today.

Even when var saves us we give another goal away.
The leveller was coming all game and Newcastle were always scoring today.

Yeah same, knew it halftime that we would repeat last week

Thiago sub was wrong.

Jota was obvious as he misplaced so many passes, and Milner tightened the midefield.

My gripe is the no third sub while keeping the front three on. We had a counter int he 90th mintue with Curtis running. Because we have so many offensive players on, they all ran forward. Newcastle got the ball and countered.

I was screaming for Klopp to make the third change.

MOTM for me today is Me…

Managed not to swear or throw anything in frustration at our lack of finishing and obvious fall into sucker punch equalizer…

I’d swap you a Mane for a Salah.
Imagine bringing in Mbappe, Sancho and Sarr for Salah and Firmino. Yeah…Nah… as we Aussies say.

saving them for an critical mid week european match? oh - no strike that …

We don’t need the owners to get us kicked out of the champions league, the team is quite capable of doing that themselves.

We were good tonight.

But as called in the pre match they were always going to jag one when we couldn’t get 2, 3 and 4 after what 22 shots and a thousand chances.

I will say it again what a cunt of a season. That game sums it up.

unfortunately dont think we fall that far but if we lose our draw next week and chelsea, west ham, spurs win then we have a good chance

Fab did the dirty work by taking a yellow for the team.

Klopp messed it up by not doing the same and making a third sub in injury time.

not gonna blame klopp today, team jus didnt score when it mattered, thats not on him

Honestly, fuck this team. No one to blame but themselves.

Congrats to Newcastle who never gave up and fought till the last.

Don’t blame Jurgen at all as the game plan worked well. The forwards just didn’t do their job… yet again.

Don’t want to here more excuses saying they must improve… just fucking do it!

Not what I asked!!!

When they levelled twice we all sat here and said well that was coming …twice!
Jurgen couldn’t see it coming obviously.
