Feared it was going to be another bad day for the lads but Ecetekes two goals set us up for a good win. So great to see Ibo’s contribution at the end. He got better as the game went on. Well done and deserved lads.

Ekitike, Wirtz and Konate outstanding there. Tremendous performances from those three, the difference makers.
The goalscorers aren’t always the best players on pitch but tonight they were.

After 30mins you feared it was gonna be another one of those games where we struggled to get anything going or pick up the pace…thankfully we did and we never looked back, the mags simply couldn’t live with us. The Ekiflo connection just gets stronger and stronger.

Seems that the Qarabag match raised the spirits considerably. The football today was much faster and much more direct.
Kerkez’s block on Gordon’s goal may be bad but he more than made it up with an assist for Hugo.
Hugo and Wirtz are madddddd good. Very reminiscent of Torres and Gerrard. 2 goals for Hugo and 1 goal and 1 assist for Wirtz!
Salah had a poor game but still got an assist with that nice lay off for Wirtz to score.
Ibou had a good game and it seems fitting that he scores the last goal of the match for us!

Good win and a good performance to go with it. Our lads suffered a bit during the first twenty minutes or so, but their reaction after going down was great. The two goals which came afterwards were fantastic. Wirtz and Ekitike combining wonderfully, and then Kerkez seeing the space for Ekitike to run into, and unleashing him wonderfully.
The second half was all in all a display of total domination, bar maybe the first five minutes or so. Two more than deserved goals complete a brilliant and important result. Salah setting up Wirtz to perfection, and then the cherry on the cake: Konaté scoring on his return after his father’s death, crowning an excellent performance. Wonderful.
A very satisfying night, let’s hope that the lads can build on this going forward!

Absolutely teared up after Ibou’s goal. What a performance by Ibou, Wirtz, and Ekitike. And what a performance from the team coming from a goa down. Sketchy start but very good after that. That feels more like it!!

All of a sudden I don’t hear supporters from other clubs talking about Wirtz anymore. No more 007 jokes or flop jokes. They’re all reckoning with what he’s becoming - one of the best players in the league, period.

Happy days COYR thankfully we have the best CH in the world and the best captain. Very fitting for Ibou to score for his dead dad and it allowed a good unity from the pitch to the fans.

Today, I fixed the massive water leak from the steam oven by reconnecting the inlet tube (with the scale built-up, it likely has been leaking for a little while)…Then our boys won the first PL game in 2026. Coincidence? I think not.
