I remember a league game a few Fridays back in the Championship and one of the managers was so angry on the touch line about the added 2 minutes.
He had made 3 changes in stoppage time.

With all the talk this summer about our big money spend on Nunez who would have thought that our best and most consistent players would be two teenagers who were playing for Fulham a few years ago? (And yes I understand he turned 20 yesterday but you get my point).
I know itās a lot to put onto the two kids but Iād like to see them start a few games with Fabinho and the current back 3 behind them.
And with all the complaints about the āextraā time played after the amount of āadded on timeā my only real annoyance with it was that we didnāt get another minute or two to play so our players could suddenly start dropping like flies with cramp just to rub it in.
Could still be playing now.
Youtube algorithm sent me to a (moderately) highly subscribed Barcode channel. I took one for the team to get the TLDW:
Apparently, Klopp (the whinger) and the ref are a total disgrace. Rant was mostly about 98 minutes. Newcastle were class. Liverpool did nothing at all. Only came down to Fergie Time. We wuz robbed. Premier League favouring the big boys. Totally robbed. Why were we still playing at 97 minutes? (ad nauseam). I just donāt understand. Itās not understandable. The Liverpool fans are a disgrace. Lock all the cXXXs up.
Yeah I saw that on Twitter from someone pointed out itās never been like that in any game and maybe if your players are injured they should come off.
I think formation stuff gets overdone, and the idea that we intended to move to a double pivot, bouthgt players for it and then changed our mind is slam my balls in the door crazifying. But, the more I see of them, and the more difficulty we are having with midfield, the more it makes sense to me to switch to a 4-2-3-1 for a few weeks (or 4-2-2-2, or a 4-2-1-1-2)
Something like
Fab, An other CM
Elliot or Carvalho
Mo, Jota, Darwin
Sicken the fuckers.
Your team spends one minute out of every five with a player having a random injury that heals as soon as enough time has been wasted an the officials are going to add more time.
Iāve only seen one of his post match interviews but even Eddie Howe seemed to have no complaints about the added on time. He knew perfectly well where that amount of added on time came from.
I guess thatās why heās the manager and not standing shirtless in the crowd showing off his man tits.
Yeah.
I probably should have gone on to mention the front three.
When we have a full compliment of strikers available weāll obviously have more forms of attack. However until Jota comes back Iād like to have both of the young ones starting in midfield as they give us an added attacking threat that seems to before effective than anything else weāve got with the currently available players.
Edit: Just to add that Iāve always liked the two (if weāre playing a 4231) to be Fabinho and Henderson due to Hendoās engine, not to mention his leadership.
However a pairing of Fabinho and Thiago is about as close as weāre likely to get to the Mascherano/Alonso partnership.
The only issue here is when the ball is in play i.e when the goalie has it in his hands, as this isnāt a stoppage, so therefore every time the goalie takes a routine catch falls to the floor gets back up and eventually plays the ball it is about 15 seconds and longer. They are supposed to release a ball after 6 seconds after having it in their possession, but the only time I can remember it being penalised was Mignolet in a European match where an indirect freekick was awarded to the opposition (as per the rules) and the scored from the resulting freekick.
Simple to stop this blatant gamesmanship/timewasting ENFORCE the Rules and it will soon stop!!!
So happy we won I have tears welling up, how can we be in this situation so early in the season?
Great to win but Iām getting a little concerned that my predictions are way out, come on Klopp sort it out please.
If he had balls he would have given a freekick against Pope for everytime he held the ball longer than 6 seconds
Ah, so they do have the ability to measure it accurately. In that case, it appears that anecdotally many generally donāt take it seriously (Mariner aside).
Given that the general argument at the start of the season was that neither Elliott nor Jones could be considered good enough to start most matches, weāve at least got one āextraā player than the fans thought we had.
Hopefully Jones can prove the doubters wrong on the weekend as well (I suspect Milly will start though )
Made hard work of it thatās for sure.
Still not convinced by the form of many players.
I note thereās not a single MotM vote for VvD and Salah in the poll. TAA near the bottom too. Thatās pretty telling.
Thereās clearly something about Carvalho though.
Who are you referring to here?
Thiago, Keita, Oxlade, Konate, Jota, Matip - all absolute gobshites of the highest order.
I was actually disappointed the hand in the top centre didnāt belong to the old man in glasses with the emotionless face.
I feel the sense of injustice with Klopp being super pissed off at sidelines trickles down to the players as well. It really affects our concentration and focus.
Teams know that and try to take advantage of that. Not that any of the players or Klopp are wrong in this, but there has to be a way to solve this not sure what.
We escaped with 3 points yesterday but these shithouse tactics almost worked.
