Worst case , put TAA in midfield and have use the training session to see how Ramsay does… Still a risk keeping in mind it’s the Derby but do we have 3 fit midfielders in the XI now

Don’t blame Newcastle for those tactics. Shit as they are we’ve just pumped a team 9-0 and he knows if we get on a roll and with the crowd behind us they could have got a pasting. Ref should nip it in the bud early but they’re weasels so no surprise he did fuck all other than add an extra minute or two on.
More concerning is how easily we let it get to us and not for the first time. Coupled with the Nunez headbutt teams will know how they can get us off our game and how bad we can be when that happens. Something we need the coaches to look at.
Performance wise it was a concern again. The more you watch us the more it looks like we got preseason way wrong. Everyone looks shattered and mentally not on it. Not great going into the schedule we have coming up.
Ultimately you go away with the three points and hope it’s a bit of a launch pad back to the “mentality monsters” energy. No bigger test of that than the derby at Woodison with our favourite Saturday 12:30 kick off time.
