Another prime example of a team needing big changes. The mentally weak malaise which has been allowed to grow and fester is shameful. We show no heart, fight or desire when anything goes against us. It was pathetic how we started that second half, we just didn’t try. Ali makes one mistake, and the team collectively shit the bed from that point - Mentally Monsters is a ghost of a distant past.
Klopp just as bad, the subs were terrible… Basically downgraded like for like our attack and ignored our midfield which was being overran.
So many players living off reputation, so many not doing the simple things right. Robertson spent most of the game getting into position, turning and passing it backwards. Fucking take on a man, where is your fucking heart?
Gomez/Fabinho just are done, Hendersons legs are done.
The worst thing? Madrid aren’t even that good, we had them on the ropes, fluffed our lines, let them grow in confidence with silly mistakes then shit the bed. A gulf in class of mentality.
