We’re always the best team in Europe. We just don’t always play like it.
Someone called him Mcrappe in the match thread.
I hope watching with a beer in his hand, was a proud German
Apparently he was in Sydney yesterday on a cruise.
Didn’t say hi to the NSWLFCSC though.
Poor.
I can vividly remember Flanagan’s on Sterling a few years ago. It had the same effect and we dismantled the oil cheaters after that.
Also similar to one where Coutinho bullied Yaya Toure off the ball and the guy shrivelled like a testicle in iced water for the rest of the match
Let’s hope Bradley’s career pans out more fortuitously.
HaHa… Just read a good quote
“Mbappe is the French Rashford” :0)
Question to create contraversy and a good ole internet bun fight, Bradley’s performance last night was over and above anything Trent could have produced, if you’re looking at his overall game
Go
Rashford is the shit Mbappe.
Doesn’t make for good reading in Rashford given how much Mbappe has stagnated.
The first responder to this dumpster fire has to be @Bekloppt

Good One… Looking at their CV’s
Trent taking a Corner Quickly to Origiiiii
against
Bradley tackling Mbappe like a reincarnation of Tommy Smith
When you really think about it, there’s only two top class teams in all of Europe:
Liverpool
Liverpool reserves
Big honour for Rafa N there.
It was an old-school Gerrard tackle from when he started with the first team. He’d clean out his opponent and come away with the ball.
This is a GREAT bit of insight! Recognising not only the strength of the player but also his natural style and putting him in positions to maximised both! Kudos to Arne for sorting this out!
That was jyst one moment though. He should have scored but his heheral all round game was pretty crazy. He kept a €125m player (signing on fee) quiet all night on top of everyyhing else he did.
It was an extremely dominant performance from the young lad in every aspect of the game and against Real Madrid. Pretty special thought.
Would Trent have kept Mbappe in his pocket like that?
Disagree. It’s done. The difference is Arne Slot and his tactics.
I love Jurgen and will love him forever. But against certain opponents his style was not street-wise enough and allowed teams into games. Or the way we were playing didn’t give leeway for us being suboptimal for a period and get away with it. A bit TOO on the edge. Ancelotti was the perfect one to take advantage of that.
Slot is the next evolution. Won’t get past him like that. Not any more.
Nah. One ‘group’ round game isn’t going to do it. We still owe them a knock-out, and we owe it to them in their own house.
