Another superb win with everyone contribution big time. Hard to pick man of the match I picked Jota and Virgil. Onwards and upwards.

Exactly the performance and result we need. Cruise mode.

Averaging 3 goals a game in the league, that’s just ridiculous.

Brilliant. The lads made it look so easy… Southampton are no mugs, but they literally had no chance today, from minute one right until the end.

An enjoyable afternoon, that… four good goals and a clean sheet… gimme more of that! :+1:t2:

Such a pleasing and non nervy game to watch. Robbo back to his best and the left side again looks deadly. Thiago running the show in the middle of the park. Could have been more, but could have easily conceded a couple. Hence, Alisson is one of my MotM. The other two being Jota and Robbo.

Glad Klopp could even rest few of the starters against Everton. Can sit back and relax for tomorrow’s games and hope the correct Manchester clubs win tomorrow.

Something about that performance started to trouble me after we scored the third. It’s not serious but I can certainly sense there might be words from Klopp about better focus in the last third and better communication down the right-hand side.

Fantastic performance.Once we get into a groove like that there are very few teams who can live with us. If we can keep everybody fit now through this crucial part of the season then we should be looking good come the new year. Still desperately worried about Salah and Mané going off to AFCON though , that could yet kill our title chances. Ah well , one game at a time and all that. Let’s enjoy this rich vein of form while we can.

Thiago and Jota joint MOTM. Virgil and Robbo not far behind

Could only watch the updates today…

I haven’t seen a single second of footage, but I reckon that was the closest 4-0 win this week!!

Alisson and Robbo joint MOTM. Van Dijk was imperious but not that influential despite the fourth goal. Jota influential without playing that well for long stretches.
Trent and Mo not normally as ineffective as today.

Missed the whole match because I was looking for towels. Oh! and I haven’t a clue how to use my telephone.

Great to get the news of a dominant win, those goals look really good. Gave Jota, Salah and Robbo MOTM. Just hunches!

onto the bitters…

Nice win, with plenty to spare. Able to rest a couple ahead of the derby too, which is nice.

Took our foot off the pedal slightly in the second half, which is understandable, but the one slight downside is that Southampton were able to open us up on occasion, and could easily have had a couple themselves.

Still, 4-0 is excellent, and I think that is 17-18 games on the spin we have score two or more. Love it.

I gave Man of the match to Jota, then Thiago, then Alisson, as he made a couple of good saves when called on. Robertson and Van Dijk could have easily taken second and third in those shouts though.

Onwards and upwards!

Watching to see if Chelsea or Man City drop points now. Unlikely, but you never know.

For the first time since Salah joined the club, Liverpool have scored four goals in a league game without him, Firmino or Mané getting any of them
