If by nadir, you mean the inside of the right side netting of the goal behind the Kop then Gakkers certainly did that last night.

If it was above 8km it’s only due to walking fast like Wirtz. 
In the pouring rain as well, I thought we were playing in Stoke.

Very impressed by Koumas, McConnell, Nyoni.
Gomez, Macca, Gakpo, Araujo did very well.
Frimpong and Kerkez definitely improved and encouraging.
A couple of worldle saves by Mama, especially the deflected one to keep it at 2-1.
In addition to the double pivot not being his natural position, Szobo is bringing his bad memories of his average performances on the pitch with him. It’s making him jittery and nervous. Otherwise he doesn’t misplace those passes so badly. When he gets in his natural position he can be lethal, as he expertly showed.
I don’t know what’s happened to Grav. Probably stuck in a similar negative mental loop as Szobo but unlike him he wasn’t able to break out of it.
As threatening as Munoz looked, I think Cody would be more effective even if he plays on the right. I dare say that had Cody started the game against Fulham, he’d have created better chances for Isak and Alex would have finished on of those. Alex trusts Cody to release the ball at the right time and so doesn’t hesitate to make his darting run, which is crucial for him.
And finally, great job gaffer! You got the squad balance and tactics just right!

Only saw the first half , which was great from us and the usual shite from Spurs , so I never saw anything of Szob and Grav , apart from Dom’s goal. As good as it was , wtf is it with this guy and his histrionics ? I may be reading this wrong but the pointing at his ear thing , is he really telling our fans to stfu with their criticism of his recent shit displays ? Some of his behaviours are rellly beginning to grate with me now.

He also has the instinct to be behind the ball or at least have an eye on what’s behind him. I would definitely start him against Bournemouth.
People keep saying he’s too young, and I just don’t see it. He is 19 and it’s not unusual for players to start making their breakthrough at that age. While he might get a lesson against grok midfielders, it’s a lesson he going to have to learn at some point. I think people parcel him and Rio up together, forgetting Trey is eighteen months older.

Just saw the highlights as I couldn’t watch the game yesterday night. It seems to have been a good game to watch! A lot of good chances. The first half and the start of the second seemed to be excellent for us. Koumas, McDonnell and Nyoni standing out with their energy, Macca scoring a wonderful goal from a deflected pass from Ngumoha, who did very well to go past two defenders before that. Gakpo then scoring an excellent goal from a good assist from Macca (both seem to be rejuvenated when compared with last season). Really excellent.
Then, Trey coming off for Gravenberch and McConnell for Szoboszlai. The feel from the highlights (don’t know if that reflects reality) was that immediately after these changes, we started to lose control of the game, and Tottenham came to really good chances. The corner on which they scored resulted from a chance which should already have been a goal, hadn’t it been for a great Mamar save. The latter fluffed it a bit on the corner. A pity, because he seemed determined to keep a clean sheet, and looked dejected after the goal. Afterwards, his incredible save on that deflection (what a rain pouring down at that moment!) kept us in the game. It seems to have been very much hand-in-the-mouth moments multiplying before Szobo killed off the game with his strike. But the assist before that… wow! It was Gakpo, wasn’t it? That little dink on the pass… wonderful!
(Delighted to see Gomez back. He’s a wonderful player.)
