It was the most complete thrashing we gave the spuds we scored 10 times against them in our last 3 games against them and I would have felt really sorry for them about all their injuries but when I I saw them celebrate the first leg win as if they already through, I thought fuck em they deserved that we stopped them from even getting a shot on target.
I voted for three players as motm but I really could have selected the whole team including the subs and Arne Slot and his team.
February is going to be pretty hard for us as they have slotted in the villa game as well. I was dead worried about the December schedule but we came through it comme what may, keep all my digits crossed we will do likewise for that month as well. YNWA

Just for laughs I will highlight that on one of the podcasts - Football Weekly, Totally Football or Football Ramble can’t remember which one - one of the guests was saying that Djed Spence deserves to play for England and has been exceptional since coming into the Tottenham team (this was after the 2-0 win at Brentford).
I find it amazing that any journalist could look at Tottenham this season and find a single positive thing to say but there you have it… a handful of games at left back for a terrible, terrible team means a call-up is just around the corner.

That Archie Gray looked about 15, there was just zero composure from them.
I doubt I’ll ever see a more comfortable semi final. I had no doubt we’d score and score a few.

There hasn’t been enough appreciation for Darwin’s dummy overhead kick in the build up to the first goal.

My motm for this one goes to Arne. I doubt Ange meant for the midfield to be that open, so I think Arne should get some credit for setting us up to give Jones and Szobo so much space. It seemed every clearance v by Spurs went to one of those two. Jones started off a little sloppy with the ball but grew into that game.
Everyone deserves credit for that performance. There were no passengers last night.
