Is fucking right lad.

VAR official must be gutted missing that foul, or maybe after Brighton and Everton they just thought we can’t do it again.

Actually, having it given by goal-line technology would have made it the absolute best possible way.

Had to choose Rhys as motm. Jones probably had a better game, however I think the significance of the circumstances and position he was playing in, let alone two of the most inform forwards in the pl, meant it had to be Rhys for me.

Jones had an outstanding game, probably one of the best I have seen him play. I noticed that he came deep for the ball on a regular basis, and to me that shows a tremendous amount of confidence and trust from his teammates.

I am amazed, but as I type this it, I though no, it’s come to be expected that we control the game against most teams. It also helps that Spurs are mostly a one dimensional team with a predictably negative manager. We really controlled the midfield, and the possession, shots, on target, all the game stats were impressive.

Great game, amazing 3 points, would have felt robbed if was anything else.

The only that that surprises me about that is the number of fouls. Would not have guessed it was so even.

Fouls are the strangest stat for me because ultimately especially in games like this you think more about the ones not given.

Didn’t you notice how the ref let them get away with murder?
The Bergwijn challenge on Williams was a red for me he got away with a yellow.
Also the Hojbjerg rugby tackle on Bobby, that sort of shit should be made a red as well.

Yes - which I was shocked to see they had 1 more called on them. Seemed like Mane alone should have drawn about 15.

Especially the number of times Mane and Gini got raked from behind have they got Taylor earmarked for us at almost every other game

The worst was what they did to Gini and how the ref didn’t stamp it out, how can they come up with the ‘FAIR PLAY’ slogan yet not ask refs to stamp out that type of targetting. There should have been a yellow in the 1st 5 minutes yet not even a foul was given. I mean the Mané stuff was a physical player against a skillfull player stuff what Gini experienced imo was thuggery they were going for his legs.
It was striking as Gini is usually a forgiving player yet he didn’t offer his hand after any of those challenges, looked annoyed, frustrated and also bewildered at the refs inaction.
