Post match: Liverpool v Spurs (EPL 27/4/25 4.30pm

I’m not saying he needs to take over, just that it’s very clear that Levy is shite and another CEO (Peter Risdale may be available…) would be a big improvement.

It might just mean the photographer is from Crosby of course…

But as long as they’re a Premier League club the value of it, as an asset, keeps going up and that’s what he cares about.

To get to the level where the value increase significantly from where it currently is, is more than the likes of him, the Glazers, that Ineos twat are willing to spend. They’d rather put the money into a tangible asset like a stadium rather than the playing squad.

They have appointed Vinai Venkatesham as CEO.

The big problem for Spurs is that whilst they get the piss taken for the on field performances, off the field they are actually one of the most stable and successful clubs in the Premier League, and by adding the new stadium, Levy will be able deliver massive financial profits sor the board, so they have no reason to push to get rid of him

This is a man who has played a key role in winning a world cup and then Copa, and at the final whistle he remained in his seat on the bench soaking it all in and was brought to tears by it all.

Which I think they will win 2-1 or 3-1 (at home).
But I am not so sure at all that they get all the way to the final. Simply, Bodø is significantly better at home, on their pitch, than Tottenham is away and the Norwegian season has gone on for a few rounds now, so they won’t meet them out of season which normally happens with Norwegian teams in Europe.

I would say that Bodø/Glimt, underdogs in the eyes of the English press at least, is 55/45 slim favorites.

They made vicario who is otherwise a decent keeper look like an absolute nunce

Haha I think I was pissed and/or stoned at that point. Mainly I meant all the stuff that has happened in the interim — including winning the title but not being able to celebrate it properly. And to do it in such a year where virtually nobody (outside of Jeff Stelling maybe) had us as favorites is even better.
