Klopp will get a fine for sure. Funny meme though with pulling that hamstring running into Spurs technical area. Ryan Mason swearing constantly at the 4th official will not get anything.

What single aspect of the current Gomez gives you the notion that this would be a good idea? He is mentally shot. He has single handedly cost us decisive goals

Tbf Gomez has been solid when played at right back this season.
In the last 10 minutes, he could fill that gap at right back, and also would then be stronger in defending set pieces. He’s also keep position and would have hte pace at right back when fresh to defend one on one.

The primary problem today was Robbo every time. So Gomez wouldn’t fix that. I was wondering why Tsimi didn’t come on

Yes Andy was poor today. But Gomez coming in at right back for the last few minutes would then allow Andy to play as an orthodox left back rather than left central defender when defending. That would instantly help out our shape.
Tsimi playing left back/ LCB dual role would be new for him.

If Trent is to be given that floating role… with Ibou moving to cover, not sure Robbo is suited to shuffle over in the pack of three. Maybe what we are gaining with Trent, we will start to lose with Robbo… not one of his best games today for sure

The club needs to see games out, not even sure what they were doing eithier side of half time.
They hadn’t done a thing up to the offside on Kane. Too many silly passes, I think I’d go back to Matip in midweek.
Also rest Robertson probably playing too much it’s when his form dipped last time.
Anyhow when we didn’t get a fourth in the first half I expected something silly was to happen. Anyhow it’s a results game and for 35 mins we looked the old Liverpool.

The late winner after letting a three goal lead slip away give the feel good factor back, while also allowing Klopp and the staff to work on the system more.
Was a real test today for the new system up against Son on the left then later on Kane and Son in tandem up top.
