Post match: Liverpool v Sunderland (EPL 3/12/25 8.15pm)

Highlights from every Liverpool game until we concede

Honestly frustrating that we wait until we’re losing to play with directness and impetus

To be fair, any keeper would struggle to play that pass from the bench.

I generally agree here. A draw isn’t the end of the world. I think our performance was poor, though.

Again, all you can hope for is to continue to improve where needed. Keep building up good habits against Leeds.

They aren’t coming thick and fast over Xmas anymore.

They will be less thick and fast than they are currently especially without the league cup.

Nah the run was from his own half. He would have been onside regardless

According to the commentator, that sunderland player was in his own half when it was played into him, so he couldn’t be offside.

Chiesa did save Alisson from a potential red card for DOGSO and a potential awarding of a penalty…

Yes, credit to Chiesa for getting back after he’d played the lad onside in the first fucking place.

Go watch back the clip and see where the pass was made…

Yet you are the dildo every year wanting us to spend money and we do and you still moan.

You are just so immature in your posting it is almost unbelievable.

And when the shit happens…just look who we play next…and they won 3:1 tonight…geez…hard mountain to climb…

How could he play him onside he was in his own half?

Whether it was his job to mark him or not at least he never gave up and that is what we all want from our players, we all make mistakes it’s how you respond to that mistake that matters.

He ran from his own half lol.

There’s complaining and there’s COMPLAINING

Can you do us all a favour and take it to DM’s with RER, we don’t need the match thread being spammed with your weird back and forth fantasies & let the people that want to discuss how shit we play, discuss how shit we play. I know it’s probably very early in the morning for you and the brain can’t fuction at it’s peak but just a kind request.

Thanks in advance.

I think our performance was better than it has been for a while, and better than West Ham. I think too many people are getting sucked into the Sky narrative.

I think the last two performances have been very much about stemming the bleed. One goal conceded in two (and a fortunate deflection at that) is a big improvement on conceding 10 in three or whatever it is.

7 points from the last 27 in the league but its ok we can’t complain about it.

Did anyone see Kerkez go to play a quick throw after it being blatently obvious it went out for a corner. Cement in his head that lad.

On the positive side, Wirtz seems to have gotten more used to the physicality of the league. I know he’s put on some weight over the last few months and it shows. He’s quite a player.
