Great game, the first enjoyable Liverpool watch in a few games!!

Everyone was excellent. Macca, Ryan, Szobo my standouts.

Mo back to his normal self too.

Need to build on this and get our season back on track!

Lot of positives

  1. Finally a win and clean sheet that too against an in form Villa side.
  2. The midweek gamble paying off.
  3. Macca and Grav solid and the midfield looking strong which has been the key of our solid performances
  4. Dom bossing it - He was sprinting up and down the pitch right till the end.
  5. Arne Slot chants and being supported by the fans on the ground.
  6. Bradley completing 90 mins and looking solid. We didn’t need to move Dom at RB.
  7. Salah looking good again and nicely taken goal.
  8. Mama making the saves, which even though routine ones, are typically conceded with how our form and confidence is.

Just the start. Still a long way to go and lot to work to do including how we do this long term and integrate some other key players. That’s for later though. But of a respite today and something to build on. Onwards and upwards.

Much improved display. Hopefully we can build on this. A couple of really tough games coming up so this win will perk all the lad’s up. Best game that Mo has had all season. Well done all.

Big difference when Grav is fit, Bradley, McA stepped up big time tonight and Szoboslai was brilliant. Oh the relief and up to 3rd.
