We limited them to one shot all game. That is embarassing for any professional team.
Alot of positives. Villarreal shouldn’t be underestimated second leg. Fabinho done well in terms of breaking up play but distribution wise was poor.
Second leg will most likely see them attack more. We do not need to force the hame like we were guilty of at times in the 1st half.

One of the most impressive and dominant performances under Klopp. The level of control was ridiculous, we put them in a vice and kept squeezing until they cracked. We made it look easy against an expertly organized and drilled team on a CL semi-final.
Klopp has built a relentless fucking machine. Best team in the world. One of the best ever.
What a sensational pre-match atmosphere. Brilliant! 
A few observations:
Thiago can turn in any direction effortlessly on the ball, I’ve not seen any central midfielder be able to do that. This makes it so difficult for opponents to stop him.
How was that not a foul and a yellow card when that Villareal defender slid into Fab without going anywhere near the ball!!
What was Foyth moaning about to Adriàn? Adriàn dismissively waved him away and then seemed to tell Jurgen that Foyth was talking out of his arse.
I’d like Fwank to see that throat grab that Mo got nothing from in the penalty area

To many commendable performances to pick a MOTM for me. Worthy winners against a well organised opponent. Just need to make sure we do nothing silly in the return leg and we are in another CL final. What a great time to be a Liverpool supporter.

An excellent job done against a very well organised team. On another night we could have had four of five goals and finished off the tie. They are going to have to come out more over there and I’m confident that we will beat them in the second leg. Very hard to give a MOM as it was an excellent team performance all round.
