Post Match: Liverpool v West Ham (EPL 13/4/25 2pm)

I think they all just really, really hate Salah’s watch.

And then 3rd?

I think the more pertinent issue is to have players that Slot will play and rotate, so we don’t get to April with the 14 lads he trusts looking fucked.

If we had played with the urgency after conceding for a while at the beginning of the second half, my fingernails would be in a far better state now.

Alisson MotM with Mac Allister offering some bite at the other end.

I can’t help but think that Robbo’s fuck up for the West Ham goal may be related to Virg twatting him over the head.

Anyway, we need, at most, 6 points from 6 games. I believe that a sizable female classical singer is starting her vocal exercises.

There have never been champions who haven’t had to grind some games out. I hate the modern entitlement where fans expect us to always be brilliant, and opponents to never create chances.

Look at Spurs and Chelsea today.

We’re about to win our second title in 35 years. Anfield should have been a party today

How many points needed Jürgen?

Srsly guys…no moaning…

The world is deadset on fire, and we follow football because it’s supposed to be fun.

Every other fan in the country wants to be where we are right now.

Soak it in.

Considering your bleating in the in match thread, this is bordering on the most two faced post of the season.

How difficult will it be to get a ticket for the last game of the season at Anfield? Even if I can’t get a ticket I will watch it in a pub in Liverpool and stay overnight to attend my very first parade and my last.

Our set-pieces’ are not very well-done. 1 set-piece goal in god knows how many attacking set-pieces in the last 2 matches is really poor.

Jones in his preferred central position was anonymous as fuck. Bradley was a breath of fresh air at the right. Our LBs are poor as fuck. One couldn’t get past his man and cross. The other managed to score an own goal.

Our CMs looks jaded as fuck too. We will need to see Endo more often and earlier this season.

Thank goodness, Salah’s assist gave us the lead and gave the team the platform to not fuck up.

Jota was anonymous for the role he is supposedly playing. Diaz faded out rapidly. Nunez needs to play more despite his deficiencies. Same goes for Chiesa!

If you want a hotel, you’d better get it booked quick. Demand is going to be through the roof and, thanks to surge pricing, you’re going to have to pay through the nose for a room.

@The-AllMightyReds, continuing from the prematch:

Agreed, and we were the best for the first 35, and in the last 10 (extra time included, so from 87-97), so pretty even in terms of dominance.
So what made the difference is that we managed to prevent conceding more than the 1 while we were dominated, and to score 2 when we were dominating. Do I wish we would have walked the game and batter them? Of course. But if you wish for us to have dominated the season, in Slot’s first season, I would say you are totally unrealistic.
Winning this league in the Manager’s first season, without even getting players in, let alone playing with a team he build, not to mention after losing a legend like Klopp, is so much more than anyone could have ever hoped for!
So I take it and I’m over the moon, without asking for so much more, at least not yet. Absolutely puzzled with anyone that doesn’t, either.
