Post Match: Liverpool v West Ham (EPL 13/4/25 2pm)

Yes I have tried already but I am not arsed I will be staying in a hotel just out of Liverpool as I did before they had a shuttle to Liverpool city centre.

And beat Arsenal at the Emirates.

It’s called sarcasm.

Do you mean 5th placed Chelsea who just scraped a draw at 19th place Ipswich?

Its more examples of your unhinged nonsense.

Loved to the end to the match in a way was falling to sleep in the mid part.

Wasn’t that great in the second half and I do think VVD and Jones were generally very poor.

Didn’t really need to bring Tsimikas off in my view to be fair and the subs made us look worse.

Great to see the concussion hasn’t dampened Alisson who was brilliant as usual and Bradley certainly improved our right flank.

Salah had a good half but his second was meh so it’s a bit reflective of the season.

Anyhow 2 wins to go :slightly_smiling_face:

4 points will do it.

Well it’s probably won already but we need 6 to make it impossible.

Salah’s assist and Alisson’s save shortly afterwards were world-class. As was Van Dijk’s coming up with the goods again. Other than that, the pattern of playing well for 45 minutes or so and being lethargic for the other 45 continues.

I sound like a broken record by now, but Slot’s subs do nothing but piss me off. What was the point of subbing Robertson on, who had a nightmare against Fulham for Tsimikas who was playing well? So, he can compound his misfortune by scoring an unfortunate own goal? No minutes for Chiesa and Elliott again for no good reason. He insists on playing his guys, no matter their condition over players that consistently prove him wrong whenever they are allowed to step foot on the pitch. Don’t care for it one bit.

Still, at this point, results are all that matter, and they say that we need 6 more points to lift #20. Can’t complain about that.

Oh and by the way it was hand ball not given so they wank themselves silly over any “slight” push

I liked how he was also 4th on that list when it came up on the graphic.

That was thrilling. God, we never make it easy. Some of the misery guts in here are never happy, I swear. We can critique the performance, but a couple of you seem unable to identify a single positive!

Thought we were really good first half but the final ball was lacking at points. I think we needed to keep that level of energy up 'til we got our second rather than sit off, which is what we moved to in the second half. Bar Mac Allister, who was again excellent, we were a bit lazy on the ball in midfield at points today.

We were never going to lose that, though. And it showed in the way they responded to the unlucky own goal. The game management is a bit odd, because we clearly can switch it on when we want to. I’d rather we keep up the intensity until we’re two goals ahead, and that’s when such ideas can kick in.

Alisson unreal. VVD a leader, again. Diaz is rediscovering his early season form. Thought the full backs were much more involved and threatening than against Fulham as well.

Roll on the King Power. Let’s thump them and set up an exciting climax v Spurs. UTR :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

I don’t watch/follow much beyond our games, so I missed the fact that Arsenal dropped points, again. :joy:

Someone else to create the match day thread please.

@germanred is slipping off late.

As long as we’re winning?

My bad, must be thinking of the game after that.

Nope. We need fresh legs.

I’ll do Spurs as it’s home.
