Post match: Liverpool v West Ham (EPL 19/10/22 7.30pm)

So you want the game stopped for every foul?

A good ref allows the game to flow when appropriate, like utd’s game and unlike ours on Sunday.

Yes, unless there is an advantage and you want fouls to go un-penalised?

Every pundit applauded Taylor for him keeping the game flowing on Sunday when in fact he had an appalling game as he let blatant fouls go.

I use rash as in unwise.

I’m pretty certain didn’t say that. You’re the one alluding that a foul should be blown up.

If you can’t acknowledge the difference between the performance of each ref then that’s your perogative. I can. Night and day.

So you want the game stopped for every foul?

Great example of rash in the utd game. Romero went sliding in, didn’t win the ball and utd scored. Rash going to ground

A foul is a foul.

Your words. I simply referenced the words you used.

Ok, so we’ve just won the last few matches and seem to be slowly turning our season around after a terrible start.

And people on here are arguing about the difference between being rash or being careless.

Wait What Reaction GIF

Yeah.

I’m going to draw a line under that now.

Not sure if this was posted beforehand

The last time he was that bad he was carrying an injury but the biggest suspicion is that he does not want to get injured before the WC as he is desperate to shine for Brasil if so Klopp should have a word as to where his bread is buttered.

My mother supports Everton…still love her :+1:

Penalty save was vital.
There is no way on earth they deserved to go into half time level a d who’s to say what that would have done for our ‘fragile confidence’.

Darwin a real handful and unlucky not to get a couple more
Bobby lively and unlucky not to get a couple.

They got at us a bit more 2nd half but we had more than enough chances to put it to bed.

1-0 will do for me though.

Yes but the only human rights that Everton are violating are ones of taste and good sense.

I think Carvalho needs to bulk up a bit. There’s quite of bit of a difference between him and Elliot in bulk and it shows with the later being better at shielding the ball when he receives it. The receiving and holding up the ball is a key skill set that he (but also Elliot to a lesser extent) need to develop further.

Joking aside…
Isn’t that an incredible, unbelievable statistic?

Jesus, Grealish, Zaha, Kane…add any player and they will have been fouled half a dozen times in those minutes…but Salah? Lets be honest he gets clattered and pulled down as much as anyone else.

Without the usual “it evens out” or “there is no conspiracy” stuff, can anyone explain this away?

Because if not, this statistic warrants investigation.

How’s he going to get picked by Brazil if he is on the bench for us?
