Klopp said Trent thought it wasn’t serious but they would have to wait and see.

If it’s hamstrung he’s definitely out for the international break, hopefully not much more

Would be wonderfully convenient. Whilst he’s off maybe he can enjoy some suitable Giggs?

Comfortable and solid with Becker picking up and pieces. How it should be. ENJOYABLE!

Not sure I’d want Gomez to be providing cover at RB considering we’re not exactly stocked in CB. Might as well give Conor Bradley a game.

Edit. Just read the news on Bradley now

Would have been lovely to watch but despite legit access to TNT, Sky and Prime, we’re about the only country you can’t watch any game of your choice.

Sounds like the water has broken on the birth of Klopp X Liverpool 3.0.

Delighted with a clean sheet. Delighted with Darwin causing chaos. Mo scoring and not doing a tearful goodbye at the end.

All good all round, looking forward to MOTD to see more than the two minutes Sky put on YouTube.

I do hope they end this next time out, give the game to who gets the 2pm Sunday games and stick it as an alternative match choice.

Just saw the highlights after listening on the radio earlier. We look good. Midfield is working. Dominik is boss. Trent was having fun. Feels like 23/4 season may be a game of “move TAA into a new position each week in order to confuse the opposition”

3 goals and all had Darwin contribution evident and very unlucky not to score . from attacking sense we played a very smart game , on the other hand we were exposed defensively by simple balls and villa could have scored 1 or 2 .
Sobo was superb and Trent passing is unbelievable

Dominant win and a great result before an International break, which recently hasn’t been happening. Considering it’s mainly a new look midfield, they certainly are looking good. All without big Virg. Klopp looks like he has a plan.

We were excellent, all over the park. 3-0 against a decent Villa side is a good result. The reds are marching up the hill. Love to see it.

Now for the shitty international break, just when we were starting to build up a head of steam.

No injuries please, and come back and start fast again. Ta very much.

Actually, I thought the ref had a very good game overall. There were a couple of times we had a player break who was obviously offside and the assistant flagged it early rather than let them go in on goal. I also noticed one of the Villa players carry on momentarily after the whistle went and he wasn’t booked for “time-wasting”. It’s just minor stuff but it makes the whole thing far more watchable.

No doubt he’ll be disciplined by the Anti Liverpool Refereeing Committee.

He did get one completely wrong at the end of the match when he gave a foul against Cody when it should have been a corner, but it didn’t matter at that stage.

Wow, that’s a quite impressive start to the new season to be fair. Ten points out of twelve, with arguably two difficult away games behind us, and a tricky one against an in-form Aston Villa side, isn’t nothing.

I couldn’t see the game unfortunately, but it seems to have been the first ‘plain sailing’ game we’ve had so far, without a ref inventing something to hamper us, and with a favourable game scenario for us (the early goal).

So, the early mini-league is over. We trail Abu Dhabi by two points (unsurprisingly, as they have been helped by the refs to overcome their usual early-season wobble), but otherwise, everything is fine and some good football has already been played by our team. Let’s see how the new lads improve as they settle in. The early signs are excellent. :+1:

I thought that had been given as a goal kick. I obviously wasn’t paying attention by then.

It is a complete farce. Every game has cameras and a commentary team. Have one as the primary game if needs be and all the build up focus on that but then just put the other games on the myriad of extra channels they all run anyway.

I can’t see televising the Liverpool game stopping anyone who was going to go and buy a ticket for Palace vs Wolves doing so still. And the money is getting split as it is no matter the viewing figures of each game.

That was one, but at the beginning of the 2nd half he gave 2 non fouls to Villa, one involved Macallister, where their player turned into him, fell over and got a freekick and I forget the other.

However, it was probably the best ref performance I have seen in a while, especially the 1st half
