We need our starters fit for the Arse match next weekend. Bastard league cup means nothing, play the kids.
More like a cocktail Molotov!

Oohhh, can of worms thereâŚ
âhow dare you tell me my day out to the 87 milk cup final meant nothingâ
I mean I get that itâs considered a âmajor trophyâ, but few would argue itâs the least valuable out of the PL, CL, FA Cup, EL, and League Cup.
All it ends up doing is causing us scheduling headaches in December if we progress to the later rounds. I think if we werenât in the CL and didnât have designs on finishing in the top 3/4 in the league, then going strong in the League Cup makes sense. As it is, we want to make sure we can reach the later rounds of the CL, and we have a VERY busy December as it stands in both the PL and CL.
Klopp used to fuck this and the FA Cup off in his first few seasons as he was building the squad in his image, and it worked a treat.
Possibly but I don´t think they created very much after the early chance.
They have a midfield and team generally that is fairly well balanced. We did well.

I would not care if we got knocked out in the first tie we play every year, and have thought that way for at least a decade. It is a tournament that has long outlived its purpose
I genuinely donât recall ever seeing a defensive header from a prone position
Weâre lucky that referees tend to favour us.
Technically that was a foul and indirect free kick.

I think itâs a trophy that could really find a purpose, if you didnât include the European teams in it.
When our £100m players show up⌠we are unbeatable.
I rather have Barcola on the left and Gakpo on the right. That keeps Gakpo from becoming too trigger happy.
We might as well make Araujo contract permanent now.
3 pts and building confidence and momentum.
Clean sheet. I have no complaints.
On to the next matchâŚ
Third without yet having a fully fit squad, our best attacker of last season out, the usual international break injuries, still no Bradley or Leoni, Barcola sill getting up to speed and the manager still moulding his style of play.
Not too bad heading into November.
Another brick will be added to that wall as Ndukwe is coming back in January, I watched his 90 min with Levante he scored and was outstanding all game.
Iâm not sure why you expect Ndukwe back in January. Heâs getting valuable experience which he wouldnât get here.
Ndiaye on the other hand is also pushing for some game time. He looks too good not to be âtriedâ at a higher level so rather than finding him a loan in January⌠maybe he could be given a shot in cup games, initially off the bench, starting this week perhaps.
TIA said that the club have changed their mind and have had a meeting with his agent with view to bringing him back in January as he now qualifies for a work permit.

Hmmm⌠I didnât know that. Thanks for the info. I hope that doesnât mean further bad news on Leoniâs recovery.
Thatâs another reason I think that the club will give Leoni a bit longer to recover from a horrendous injury which apparently is worse than the Virgil ACL.
Out played us which created absolutely nothing. If the boot had been on the other foot and we were 2 down and played like that the teeth gnashing and knee jerking would be off the scale on here.
Obviously didnât see the goal he gave away in his latest game!
Very impressive result that. Brighton are a very good side, they are well-drilled, combative and patient. You can see how theyâve managed to break sides down this season, they stick to their gameplan regardless of the score and wait for their opportunities.
We stayed strong and limited their chances to the point I canât actually remember Alisson making a save.
Aroujo outstanding again. This bloke has never lost a 50-50 in his life. No prisoners taken. Get him signed.
VVD very good too. Won everything in the air.
Referee was a fucking cock, nothing new there.
YepâŚget Ronnie signed upâŚ
Just watched the game and right at the end summed up how any idiot who once used to play gets a voice. Lee Hendrie on the 2nd half Brighton put us to the sword. Say what absolute shite
Lee Hendrie
