There’s a highlights link on his thread. Obviously, that gone to bias things in his favour but he was hoovering up loose balls and finding decent passes forward all game - in fact it was one such pass that led to Dom’s goal.
He’s going to be useful for this kind of game.

I didn’t see any in the ground. But I was sat in the King Kenny last night which is the stand you can see on the telly. There were none around me though.

You can if you win 100% of those games 3-1.

Agreed. What an option to bring off the bench though when defenders legs are tired
Reworded even though I know that you know what I’m saying:
You inevitably are going to drop points if in the majority of games you go behind early. Every dropped point is very costly when the target due to the sports washers is 90+ points.
It was a freaking maddening game. We were always in control and we were slicing the opponent at will. We could have won by four or five goals. Some sitters were wasted and the crossbar had an amazing game.

Important context is that Chelsea and Bournemouth are the only games in which we’ve played the same back 4 in successive games…what most would consider our strongest. The positives to take from that are we likely either improve naturally once we find some consistency, or if we say that we’re unlikely to get consistency because of injuries then this period represents some much needed game time for needed for players to be up into rhythm.
It’s also worth mentioning again, that a good number of the goals we’ve conceded have not been due to defensive issues, but more giving the ball away in bad situations.

Sometimes in the early round of cup games there are empty seats as people buy them with no intention of attending so that they can qualify for tickets to the later rounds.
