Oh oh Antonio…praps you should keep your ‘pie in the sky’ thoughts to yourself…less embarrassing…
He is a phenom. I’m starting to believe that Bellingham did us a favour by choosing Madrid; We ended up with Szoboslai for 40 millions less.
Is 3:1 our default result now?
I was very pleased with that. It’s a decent West Ham side so 3 points is a good achievement.
I don’t think we had a poor performance in there. I’ve been noticing a step up with Darwin and Jones this season. Nunez seems to be far more aware of his position and team mates. The flick on to Salah for the opening goal looked nonchalant but he seemed aware of Salah and knew it was the best option. It’s just a pity that Mo was fouled as I’d far rather see great goals from open play rather than a penalty.
Curtis looks physically stronger. I’m hoping that his injuries are behind him but he is now muscling into players and imposing himself on the game. I’m wondering if the time spent with the physios has toughened him up.
Dom, however, is phenomenal. I remember Gary Lineker saying that the joy of watching Messi isn’t the goals or the game changing runs but the fact that he does something magical in every game. I don’t think Dom is another Messi but he has these surreal touches and close ball control that you’re left thinking, not so much how he did it, but more how even thought to attempt it. A real delight of a player.
This is meant to be our rebuilding season. It’s going quite well so far, isn’t it?
We’re quite good aren’t we?
I’d take that scoreline every match without question.
No.
Despite now being 18 unbeaten, the system doesn’t work, we can’t defend and Jones is crap.
Very good performance from the boys! Szoboszlai has well and truly filled the number 8 jersey. Macca has done well today with a chipped assist. Gravenburch is a fresh breath of air at LCM, knitting the left side very nicely. The defence looks really stable even with 2 absentees.
Nunez will probably need a couple of zoom calls with Suarez on finishing techniques( and ignore the part on physically finishing the opposition) and a couple of in-person therapy session with the club’s in-house sports psychologist to improve his composure.
gomez quietly having a good season
Our forwards are our WMD. If Team A gets tired, Team B will up the tempo and vice versa.
Fantastic.
You’re either a troll or you don’t watch Liverpool matches
@Flobs it’s really working with the 1-1 calls, here are the 3-1 wins you’ve been craving for last season!!! Keep it up!
Gomez is offensively average on RB and is pretty decent defensively.
And Mac too
Why not both?
I am not saying he is shit today. Rather, I think he has improved tremendously. He is pressing effectively and sometimes winning balls at the number 10 position as well.
However, the chances that he is given today are quite a fair bit. A little more composure and he might have a brace.
Yes but despite that … ?
Can still see Everton so no
