Good win. Will take 3-1 every game. Jones knitted things together wonderfully

City top? Nah. Who’d wanna take that.

Everton staying up again? No way.

Well it’s better than I was expecting at this point. I still regard this as a team in progress but CL qualification is a huge financial boost.

I think what I would take is City and Newcastle automatically relegated for twattery.

As far as I’m concerned, WE are top. Whenever I look at the at table, I mentally delete cheaty from the standings, simply because of what they are and what they do. Well, it works for me anyhoo.

MOM is Alisson Maca and Nunez ,
we played well and in a way controlled the game but we still give teams some big chances a better team would have punished us at least on two occasions. we cant defend like this against Tottenham because they are lethal .
Westham goal its like a replay of 10s of goals we have conceded , Robertson running ahead of the ball when we even didn’t have control of the bloody ball with no proper cover and our defence all over the place .
Up front we are one the best teams , power skill and options , Nunez had so many run but only Maca had the vision to play him on, but it something that the team needs to adapt to in time
we are still 2-3 ( midfield and defence) players short of a team capable to challenge Man city

Not me.

We can win this fucker.

Excellent win there, against a side which was in form previously to the match, and still made it very difficult for our lads.

I just caught the highlights, and based on that, our habit of starting matches in a sloppy way is still there. West Ham could have been 2 nil up before the scene leading to our penalty, and if I’m honest, West Ham were all over us during the first thirty minutes or so, al least in terms of clear chances created. Then, the tide started to turn, but their equaliser was still deserved.

After that, we were the superior side right until the end, even though West Ham had their chances to come back to 2-2. But in the end, the win is deserved. Well done, lads! :+1:

One word on the ref: going by the highlight reel, he took the right key decisions, and VAR too. No complaints there.

We would win the league… if it were a level playing field. Sadly, it isn’t.

This Liverpool side is capable of constantly scoring 2-3goals every game - with that in the armoury, we are more than good enough to beat most teams… After a poor season just gone, not sure Jurgen will let any of them freewheel for more than a game or so.
If we don’t keep up with the pace set by the bald fraud, then come the CL quarter/semi-finals… The Cheaters will be able to rest players in the PL games, if no-one is pressing them for the title. I for one, don’t want The Cheaters winning number 2

It doesn’t matter what we did today, because apparently Newcastle have just won the League. It’s all over.

Very good overall team performance against a good West Ham team, who would be a better team with a more progressive coach, as they have some good players.

For us, not one player had a poor performance, everyone put in at least an 7/8 out of 10 performance. However, the standouts for me were, Joel, Joe and Dom who is not just a tremendously skilled but just never stops running.

We also have players on the bench who can come on and impact the game.

Last thing the ref, Kavanagh had a very good game.

Even after today’s loss, WHU are a very respectable seventh in the table. That gives an idea about how good they are. Considering we barely broke sweat to beat them tells you how good we were. I was nervy till we scored the third, but when you put things in perspective, it becomes more satisfying.
