But the some of the players were just walking around the pitch, they lacked motivation in the second half. They used to fight when their backs were against the wall, now they look like they can’t be bothered, which is disgraceful.

How bad is Arthur that Fab is in front of him?
Just watched the game we were given a lesson in football, we are poor both in and out of possession.
I know we haven’t seen anything of Arthur but surely he can offer more than Fab who di bugger all today.
I have said it before and will say it again our play out from the back is just not good enough, we need better technical players that can retain possession and they also need to be more athletic. This just doesn’t mean midfield, that would be a start, but at the back our defenders just aren’t comfortable on the ball.
Best player today was Gakpo as he was the only player to be able to receive the ball, turn and cause City problems, otherwise the rest of our players were gash in possession.
We need a complete rethink in our tactics and formation, as for me the game has moved on from what made us competitive.
Chelsea are poor…but were worse away from home.

How many losses is that now on the road (just in the league) 8…9? Its pathetic…easiest team to beat in the league away. Were there even any losses in those which we didn’t deserve? Probably Arsenal and that’s it.

I think he mentioned the squad was full on a few occasions and if no one leaves no one coming in.
And yet Melo arrived on deadline day and Gakpo on day one of the January window.
If we can’t get 4th, I’d prefer 8th.
Fucking around in either of the Thursday cups will be more detrimental than helpful.

Panic buy due to injuries. Gakpo purchased because he was our target for the summer and utd sniffing around him.

Not a single benefit from playing in those 5th rate competitions…good for the kids to get a run out? Send them on loan. Financial benefits? It’s like 100k per win in the groups & IF you get as far as the final it’s about 1m, I think the club can survive. Major trophy if you win it? Don’t make me laugh.

Whilst not a big fan of Europa League, it is still a trophy, so if that is what we end up in next season, I want us to win it.
As for the new one, it is one we haven’t won, so would be nice to win that to complete the set
