That feels significant.

We were in control. Soaked up pressure and packed a punch on the counter.

Absolutely ruthless and no surprise that Salah was at the heart of both goals.

A huge step towards Premier League title glory!

Such a composed, ruthlessly efficient performance.

We made that look very easy, they never laid a glove on us…home or away.

Arne got his selection and tactics spot on.

Salah and Szobo put in statement performances, 2 CB’s were faultless throughout.

Step aside Pep, there’s a new bald sheriff in town.

Clean sheet, brilliant defensive set up.
No Haaland, no real goal threat.
Doku could put in another 20 crosses and it would still be 2-0

Never in doubt.

We controlled the game from start to finish: give City the ball, let them do nothing, and then hit them on the break. Excellent performances all round, with particular credit to our centre-half duo (surely the best in Europe), Dom and Mo. The last-named was brilliant in his defensive duties today, it must be noted.

I don’t like the Travelling Kop singing “We’re going to win the league” in February, but it really is looking like only a matter of time now. Beat Newcastle and Southampton in our next two league games, both at home, and we’ll be almost there before the international break.

Robbo was probably the weakest player in the match. Trent did do okay once he realised that Doku was a shit Adama Troare.

I’m not saying I am 100% responsible for the result and I’m not saying that I am not 99% responsible.
