Fair play Pep, first time Iā€™ve agreed with him post match.

ā€œDidnā€™t see the disallowed goalā€
ā€œNothing happened with Nunezā€
And basically said their own fans donā€™t sing enough and get behind the side.

Fair play you prick.

He said ā€˜ enjoy the championship da puta madreā€™

He also cleared the space by taking two defenders with him into the box allowing Trent to receive the ball and score

Well you know, City was playing with all of those ā€˜injuredā€™ players. I nearly wept at the bravely that those players showed, being able to play and all.

Considering we had almost a full squad to choose from and yet still had more first teamers out.

The other thing from today is the we have a much deeper bench than City. That may matter later in the season, especially with the World Club Cup coming up

He still got the ball 35 yards away with 5 or 6 players behind the ball. There were 2 defensive mistakes (Trent and Dom being lax on Ake, neither Virgil nor Matip getting close enough to the best goal scorer on the planet and the only guy who could reasonably be expected to get the ball) in the recovery.

Outside of that, it felt like one of the few unforced errors. For as much praise as city get with the ball, today they were very good without it, especially in the middle third. It felt like most the other turnovers we had were due to good pressure from them.

He also had another big one right before the equalizer

A good point to take away from City at home.Thought we struggled at times with nobody being outstanding. Alli had a shaky game and not up too his usual standard. Gave Trent my MOM for a great strike.

Macca works in games where the opponent prefers standing off players.

However, Macca struggled in the opening half of the game where the opponents pressed him like crazy.

This means we still need an actual ball-winner with recovery pace and good reading of the game. If Endo can win challenges, we wouldnā€™t be talking about this nowā€¦

was hoping we would get a second goal to affirm ourselves as come-back kings like we have been doing it this season so far.

Our away form has been patchy, and we were a goal down. First points dropped by Shitty at home for ages.

OVerall, we can be satisfied with this result.

Referee was okay today 7/10ā€¦ but still get the feeling Webb tries to micro manage his referees, on a week to week basis, dependant on what the hot topics are in the press, or what clubs are now more likely to send a complaint about the shit-show of an organisation he runs
