Thanks to everyone on here for keeping faith at the beginning of every game. We all knew that life without Jurgen would be different and we hoped that everything would still be all good.

Started brightly. Carve out a couple of good chances. Keir things tight at the back.

And then the pen. Heads dropped. Cooked a second on the stroke of half time.

Slot under pressure. Send them team or early. We get carved apart.

Salah lacking confidence in the pen. Would only have a consolation, but it was very much needed.

All eyes on Wednesday now. The postmortem can be done by the hightest ups over the summer.

It’s a two legged game. Go back to basics. Come away with a draw or a goal behind at worst to take the have to Anfield.

As for Slot, losing this heavily against a rival is a mountain to climb.

It actually pains me to tick that bottom option but I had to.

Post match and Pre match interviews about how they will do better, wearing the most hideous clothes, laughing and smiling at training all would be fine if that’s not the only performance they do but they turn up like that and they all for the most part seem happy about it.
