I think the only thing you left out, was Ekitike swapping shirts with Cherki after being substituted. I mean WTF? He should’ve been so angry about the team’s performance and told Cherki to FRO!!

Defensively we we’re a mess. It was evident from the start. No midfield. When they had 3 attackers we had 6 or 8 defenders if they push 5 or 6 into attack we had 3 defenders covering them yet still no midfield. It was a complete mess.
In attack we had so interesting moments in the 1st half. Wirtz and Ekitikè did some good stuff. Salah fluffed the chance that would have allowed us to breathe and from that point it was over.
Our goalkeeper actually looked solid compared to usual. Then that might have been because defensively we looked so fragile.
Gravenberch was atrocious all game. I don’t know what position Szoboszlai played?
We just don’t do the work to slow the opposition down. No shoulder barged, no marking of dangerous players. None seem to know what their role is. We desert the midfield and let a good team dominate. Far to much space between our lines. When we clear the ball we don’t push out then looked shocked when the opposition come straight back at us. What is this shit?

This behaviour from Ekitike, was enough for me to sell this mercenary 
…try that in Klopps reign and Millie or Hendo will be on your back. Hell,he wouldn’t dare do it …and will be shit scared about the wrath of Jurgen.
Which shows…apart from the manager…no one is policing ,setting standards… keeping players in line about what it means to play for this club.It’s every player for themselves really.Sad state of affairs in 2 years time since Jurgen departed.

There’s soo much wrong tactically it’s impossible to analyse, particularly for us laymen.

We had 2 attackers trying to press whilst our midfied was back holding hands with our centre backs. What’s the point? How do you even start to correct that with all the other problems we have.

My gut says you always start with shape, particularly when we don’t have the ball. We have regressed in that area.
But for me there’s a whole question around Slot’s whole tactical base. I don’t know what it is anymore.

Seen VVD retreating defensive line faster than the rest can run and not pushing up after a clearance all season. I can not see that changing in 1/2 a week let alone 2 weeks.
It’s not individual performances Virgil it’s the whole system that stinks!
