Post match: Man Utd v Liverpool (EPL 22/8/22 8pm)

I see Saint Marcus’s goal was deemed onside because of some sort of ‘tolerance’ ruling that came in in the summer. Would have been offside last season. I look forward to this ‘tolerance’ being applied evenly.
I’m wondering if they applied the same thing to save that rat-faced cheating cunt from being sent off.

What is this tolerance rule?

Because frankly it looked offside.

yes yes indeed

Saint Marcus was at least one stride in front of the defender…you could see that on the lines on the pitch…

That was woeful. Terrible start to the season. Need to improve fast.

Silver Lining

Now we are crap we can all start YouTube channels with live streams of our in-game anguish and make piles of money.

What’s the tolerance? I would assume the tolerance was to stop the arm pit offsides but this just sounds subjective again.

We’ve got back to offside being subjective? It was the one thing VAR at least was obvious on.

I thought they were bringing in a Hawkeye system, but I saw the lines again.

You lot can…I’ve no idea how …

It really can’t be rocket science if that Alice person can do it.

The thing that strikes me is how much slower we looked than our opponent so often over the past 3 games. The number of second balls we lost today was amazing. I dont think we’ve become a lazy side, or even one that has developed the liking of the smell of our own farts. I think we’re just collectively fucked.

Recovery is a strange thing. Once you get close to the line of what you’re able to recover from even touching your toe up to it can fuck you up. We look like a group of players who reached that line in April of last year and found they had no option but to keep going and are now experiencing the costs of it. Whether physical or emotional or both they all just looks so off the pace that the collective is a mess.

Now Man Utd are odds on for a resurrection and the title these grifters might have to get a proper job. Instead of look sad on camera or shouting.

Never did hear about ‘tolerance’ ruling but I’m pretty sure that it will only apply for Manchester and London teams, Fuck them.

I am baffled as well with Firmino’s lack lustre performance as well. He’s got footballers block (like writers have writer’s block)

Klopp doesn’t sound pleased at all.

He’s had it for over 2 years now. I love the bloke but he looks done.

I habe a bad feeling when Milner an Henderson start together in midfield. Workmanship, yes. creativity, no.
Admitted, we‘ve many injured player. But why not start Elliott and Carvalho together in Midfield?

I’d have tried him in CM by now with the injuries. Suppose when you have no Nunez or Jota it’s more difficult.

He can’t play that front role anymore.

Literally never heard of this tolerance thing. Sounds like utter bullshit to me.

Oh, and let’s not go with the ‘Saint Marcus’ thing. He stepped in and campaigned to make sure kids got fed when the Tory party were willing to let them go hungry. Disparaging the lad for doing a profoundly good thing at an awful time for millions of families. Not a good look.
